Antifa Explained

If you read the Anti-Fascist Handbook, there will be no doubt that Antifa is the modern day version of the Sons of Liberty.

You are a brainwashed you have been taught to believe what you do; by a bunch of communist asses. Learn history maybe those dots can come together for you.

These teachers of communism are smarter than you will ever be and any other ANTIFA idiot.
's called you are victims of PSYCHOLOGICAL WARFARE and it was done brainwashing you fools.

Know who is sitting next to Obama probably not.

The irony of a fascist telling anyone to learn history. There are plenty of alternative facts in history. It takes a lot of time and cognition to separate the wheat from the chaff.

You don't anything about history, nor true Fascism. All you're trying to do is justify your own fascism.
Sheldon Wolin wrote about inverted fascism. Give the class a summary of what inverted fascism is.

Son if you want to try and justify your own Fascism you do your own work. You want to pretend that what you do is fine because you think you serve a "greater good". You're free to serve whom you wish, you're free to believe what you wish, hell kid, you're even free to try and force it upon us. You won't like what happens if you do, but you can try.

AND YOU can't answer who that is next to Obama can you . LMFAO.

When you fail to know history you are doomed to repeat it, and you are doing just that. The irony is you haven't a freaking clue that's what you are doing. This is why they tried taking history away from the schools and colleges so you have nothing to look back on other than what your Dictator tells you .........

Wake up dude you are failing even on a liberal based message board . Not to many are siding with you lol. Notice the ones who do are staying the hell off the post bhahhaha.

You can blame the KKK< the "White Supremacists", the "Corporations".....you can blame whoever you want. You can think you are justified and you can go on typing furiously thinking you are making a difference but kid? You're just one more silly little "revolutionary" who thinks he's going to change the World....only instead of being in the streets here you sit playing tough guy.

The tea party started out protesting the Wall Street bailout but were told to hate Occupy. Republicans do what they are told because you are too lazy to think for yourself. If government told you to kill Occupy, you would not hesitate to follow such an asinine command. You are the servitude British soldier and I am the American fighting for justice and liberty.

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out—

Dear antifa
Don't forget free speech for the Klan and the White Nationalist.

Ray Hill is one liberal activist who has defended free speech consistently,
even has his name on the historic lawsuit against the City of Houston
that successfully defended the right of the KKK to march publicly in the streets of Houston.

He teaches the Rules for Radicals by Saul Alinksy, and recently held a 3 hour workshop
at a local university on how to be more effective in activism.

He is one of the few who lives up to the philosophy you cite above.
Defending free speech for everyone means defending it for us.
And this includes the Klan and people we disagree with.

I appreciate that Antifa's tactics are to use violence or the threat of violence to silence others (funny given the fact that this is the tactic employed by all dictatorships). What isn't clear is Antifa's strategy - what do they want to build?

In truth I believe that most of them are turned on by violence and their rhetoric of fighting fascism is nothing more than a cheap excuse to fight with anyone they don't like. The fact that these people are afraid of someone expressing opinions different from their own simply points to how pathetic, small and immature they are.

.

There isn't a price to pay when speech is free, but as I said, ANTIFA doesn't believe in free speech. Thank you for proving my point.
When government got rid of the duel, they also got rid of free speech. Antifa is bringing the duel back so if you want to talk shit in public, you risk getting a bloody face.

No antifa
The court system replaced the duel.
And because the court system is monopolized by lawyers and judges paying each other off politically,
that's where we lost free speech and the right to petition.

The best way I've seen to restore free speech, due process and right to petition to redress grievances is
* mediation to reach consensus so all parties interests are included and protected equally
* conflict resolution to either agree on policies and solutions, or agree to separate jurisdiction and have separately paid programs
* proportional representation by party, where whole groups can govern themselves under the policies of their choice, according to their beliefs,
and allow other groups to do the same, so they don't impose their conflicting beliefs on each other or through govt on anyone else who disagrees

NONE of these methods involve physical punching or violence.
The worst that would happen is verbal bullying and venting back and forth
which is part of FREE SPEECH.

You don't need to get physically violent to exercise free speech.
Usually it's when free speech fails that it turns physical.

With inclusive forums for mediation and conflict resolution, where nobody is judged or excluded
for expressing their beliefs verbally, this allows conflicts to be resolved peacefully without resorting to physical bullying to coerce anyone.
Emily, I don't need the courts to protect me. That's the difference between a real conservative and a fake conservative who is dependent on the taxpayer to solve all their problems. Street justice is poetic and much more affective than government.

Dear antifa that's not what I am saying.
I agree with you that we the people invoke the laws directly ourselves.

What does apply to people like you and me who recognize we invoke authority of law ourselves,
is that we lose our free speech when we censor the free speech of others.
We lose our free exercise of religion when we oppress the same of others.
We lose our right to petition to redress grievances when we deny this right to others.

Likewise, we DEFEND free speech when we defend this right for everyone equally.
We DEFEND and enforce the right to redress grievances when we practice it.
We DEFEND due process and the right of defense when we respect this for ourselves equally as others.

That's why I was warning in a previous message
NOT to violate the due process of others, because that hurts everyone.

If our goal is to defend equal justice for all people, then we should respect
due process and not punish or judge anyone without following that process.

What I have seen from experience, antifa, is when people are confronted
with the wrongs, they naturally seek to correct themselves. Thus the need for punishment
becomes void. They take responsibility to fix their own problems because people have pride and free will.
They want to be in charge. So when you give and respect them for taking that responsibility, they do so.

This is why I promote redressing grievances directly between people, antifa.
And yes I agree with you, totally, that if we all did this, we'd end the need for courts.
The courts at most would "rubber stamp" agreements that the people make amongst ourselves.

We resolve our own conflicts, then we don't need courts or govt stepping in to settle our conflicts for us.

I totally believe we need to take back this power that we have as inherent in our human nature.
We become dependent on govt when we can't resolve our own conflicts.
But who says we can't?
Emily, don't take this personal but you are looking for utopia. I live in the real world where there are consequences for hate speech. Anyone who thinks they have the right to spew hate in public has to accept the consequence.
Dear antifa I agree with your point there are consequences for hate speech. Why can't you see that you come across as hate speech so the response you are evoking IS the consequence. This same point applies to you or me. We are living by the very laws in the present. It's not a future reality or fantasy or Utopia; it's a choice to make the present about equal respect or about equal offense. We can either compete to make each other wrong, or work together to make each other right. Which is better use of our energy time and resources? Making things right or arguing which thing is more wrong? Why not fix all wrongs? Isn't that a more effective goal?

Dear Decus
It seems the goal is to keep up the protests and threats until all signs of said oppression is gone.

Similar to China US Russia and now Korea threatening greater and greater military and nuclear threats until there is peace and no more need for war.

Carrying the bigger stick has nothing to do with the actual work it takes to eliminate the need for carrying the stick to begin with.

When it comes to offering either a carrot as a reward or a stick as punishment, i prefer the job of offering carrots while other people only understand the stick. Antifa is more that approach , like good cop bad cop.

If we don't listen to the good cops, we end up with Antifa playing bad cop!

Again Antifa haven't defined what they are trying to build through their actions. The simple truth is that they can't articulate their goals and objectives because they don't have any. They enjoy violence and hope to instill fear. It makes most of these people feel important. Antifa is just as happy to fight over whether a beer is less filling or tastes great as it is about any other equally important issue.

Antifa playing bad cop will only get them hurt. They really should grow-up and stop playing games.

History tells us that we the people have to nip fascism in the bud. They are terrorist and need to be treated as terrorist. Have you read the Art of War? If so, do you know the message Sun Tzu is telling us about war?

You refuse to accept the fact that we are headed for civil war. The Art of War tells us how to avoid war.
^ Still doesn't know the meaning of fascism, despite the fact that it has been posted in this very thread.

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Socialist.

Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

"If we don't listen to the good cops, we end up with Antifa playing bad cop!"
