The production program is split into 8 ASW Corvettes and 4 Multi-Role Frigates.

After MILGEM program is completed, TF-2000 program will go into construction, which is 6 Anti-Air-Warfare Destroyers.

By 2015, 6 new submarines will enter the Navy.
They are based on the German U214

The subs are produced in Golcuk Shipyard Istanbul.
National contribution will be 80%.

Turkish industrial participation in the project would be worth around 80 percent of the total value of the deal.
As the Turkish Type 214 will have a significant amount of Turkish indigenous systems on board, this variant of the Type 214 will be known as the Type 214TN (Turkish Navy).

The 16 YTKB are close-littoral patrol ships.
They will free existing Frigates and Corvettes from close-littoral duty.
They are also equipped with Anti-Submarine weapons.

(P.S: Let pictures load, its 4 pictures)

To a submarine sailor, this is just another target...

Milgem's Sonar.
As I said, it is ASW-Corvette (Anti-Submarine Warfare).

The Sonar is built by Bilkent University.
The University has become Turkey's 15th biggest industry conglomerate through its start-ups:
Acoustics Ambitions - Defense News

Three of the world's largest navies are placing new emphasis on undersea sonar systems in 2010. New facilities in the US and Turkey will help the navies in those nations enhance their undersea operations, while in the UK, the Royal Navy is at work on a fleet-wide upgrade and standardisation of the sonar systems on its submarines.

To a skimmer who has been on real ASW platforms, these things are only a threat to '50s era first generation Soviet rattle trap nuke boats.

"real ASW platforms" like what? Oliver Hazard Perry? The Turks already have those, and are upgrading to this generation of ships.

What a random bunch of insults you threw out, at what is clearly a well thought out and capable wee corvette.

If it were American you would all doubtless be salivating over it. But of course, you have no new ships......

Smaller ship (behind) is YTKB which will be given to coast-guard. Navy ships will be freed from this close littoral duty.
