An anti-online gaming bill (RAWA) backed by Sheldon Adelson will be heard on March 5 by the Subcommittee on Crime, Terrorism, Homeland Security.

This basically seems like the billionaire's attempt to eliminate his competition bearing in mind he owns a string of live casinos and doesn't have a business interest in the online industry. Crony capitalism at its best, not to mention it would ban igaming at a federal level and violate 10th Amendment rights.

Not sure if people are familiar with Restoration of America's Wire Act but would be interested to get people's thoughts. Online gaming is now legal in three states with more coming in 2015 but this would stop this dead in its tracks.

Adelson and his Las Vegas/Far East gambling cronies tried for years to pull the same crap against California's Native American casinos, which collectively now gross more every year than all Las Vegas casinos combined. California's voters stomped the Adelson mob into the ground, telling them California's Native American casinos are a hands-off proposition.

It seems he's getting stomped again this time - people seem to be tired of him trying to buy his way to the White House
