Power corrupts. It doesn't matter what kind of power, or in what setting. It's the nature of the beast.

Group sex with three? That's a threesome. A group is more than three. The club I'm in likes to define our activities in a more precise manner. :huddle: ;)

Question: If he and his wife both willingly and together participate in group sex, how is that adultery? He is not having a separate affair apart and concealed from his wife.

Christianity promotes monogamy and likes for thier ministers to practice what they preach.

Matthew 19:5 and said, 'For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh'?

I don't really see the issue. He is honest about mistakes in his life. He is encouraging others not to make the same ones. I don't see how this has any relevance to his arguments about facebook. I don't agree with all his conclusions, but his past sexual conduct doesnt effect the quality of his arguments.

And quite honestly, it sounds like he is practicing what he preaches. He made a mistake, he recognized it, he is trying to persuade people to avoid it.

Id rather have an imperfect minister that admits his flaws and works with his congregation to help them overcome theirs while he does the same then someone who is pretending to be perfect.

If someone is disqualified from serving others as a minister or in some other capacity because they made stupid mistakes in the past, no one would be eligible for service.

Back in the day, we had what we called "testimonies" in the church. Someone's testimony was usually about the depravity of their life and how they found Jesus as Savior. It wqas meant to be inspirational. He didn't have to go into detail, but had he said, "here is what I did, it was wrong and here is how to deal with it", that would be one thing. To do something and keep it a secret while telling others not to is hypocritical. Kind of like Newt giving Clinton hell while he was sleeping around himself and just hadn't got caught yet.

    I'm not surprised

Christians are the most perverted people in the world. Not only do they systematically abuse children, they routinely abandon their own children so they can have sex with people who are not a parent of their child.

So if the two have become one flesh and the one flesh has sex with a third person, that doesn't seem to be an issue.

    Thanks for clearing that up.
