Well now, Polar, let's not be putting words into my mouth. I have never addressed that polynya here. I would suspect that is a result of ocean currents, but have never seen a study on it.

What is of concern is the climatic history of the planet during the span of human culture. Homo sapiens is only 200,000 years old and human culture not much more than one-fortieth of that. During both those periods, CO2 is at an unprecedented high and has risen at an unprecedented rate. During that period, temperatures are rising to unprecedented levels and at unprecedented rates.

I ask you again, what do you believe to be fake about, say, the conclusions of the IPCC?

CO2 has nothing to do with temperature beyond its contribution to the mass of the atmosphere....adding CO2 to the atmosphere raises the emissivity of the atmosphere...by definition, when you increase the emissivity of an object or a system, the temperature decreases...do you think that CO2 has some magic by which you can add it to the atmosphere, increase the emissivity and realize an increase in temperature?

The only thing we have EVER seen here is that you claim it is being adjusted to make warming look worse that that that is proof that it's unwarranted. The truth is that most of the adjustments have reduced the amount of warming and that all of that has been perfectly justified.
