And his hour long infomercial for his DC hotel and his hour long infomercial at his Scottish golf courses were hardly bad press.

I've always said that government is the most biased entity on planet earth. Your comment, though clearly with good intention, shows just how biased the electorate expects government to be. Then, on the other hand, complain when government functions in a biased manner. The government doesn't produce anything. Therefore they have nothing. They can only take wealth and redistribute it to victim status groups. The role of the government is not to placate group claims. It's to protect Individual liberty. So, we have to stop endorsing the idea that the electorate should be seen as members of groups , but rather as Individuals.

There are no such things as group rights. There are only individual rights. Rights don't come as groups. Rights come as individuals.

Anyway. That said, there is a solution to the problem of stagnant wages, wealth inequalitly, etc. Three words.
