Democratic Voting Enthusiasm Down Sharply From 2004, 2008
PRINCETON, NJ -- Democrats are significantly less likely now (39%) than they were in the summers of 2004 and 2008 to say they are "more enthusiastic about voting than usual" in the coming presidential election. Republicans are more enthusiastic now than in 2008, and the same as in 2004.

Democratic Voting Enthusiasm Down Sharply From 2004, 2008

For those liberal/Obamatrons that this goes way over their heads...
In 2008 61% of Democrats were anxious excited enthused to vote and get out the vote..
Today 2012..
The current 51% to 39% Republican advantage in voter enthusiasm is slightly larger than the 53% to 45% GOP advantage Gallup measured in February of this year.
This means MORE GOP are getting others to vote and More will be voting!

Just another indicator that Obama is going to lose... UNLESS Democrats can get more dead people to vote!!!!

Just when you think is can't get worse, Obama goes on TV and says something. The funny thing is he has done more with less and anyone I know. Hopefully after November he will be gone and we can try to fix this mess.

Can you blame them? Many of them are out of work.

A Recession is when your neighbor's out of work
A Depression is when you are out of work
A recovery is when Barack Obama is out of work.

Obama's economic policies have simply crushed his core base of minority and women, especially in the area of unemployment.

Most will continue to play the fool, but not enthusiastically.

Republicans are excited about voting Obama out rather than voting Romney in. When it comes down to selling their lemon to the public they fail miserably. At some point their sales pitch will have to proceed beyond just getting rid of the scary man and on to what is this other turkey going to do. The debates (I can't wait) will be end of any perception that Romney has an edge in any area other than just cash to spend.

You guys who shit on police cars don't matter.

Why are you excited about voting for Romney? You just can't sell him on his own merits.

The entire extent of Obama's executive experience before becoming Leader of the Free World was running his school newspaper. It shows.

America is suffering horribly because of it.

Time for a real leader who has actually accomplished things in the world.

Come on, sell him without mentioning Obama, you cannot.

What on earth are you talking about? The man can easily be sold on his own merits. He's a man who amassed a small fortune buying failing companies and turning them into successful ones. He eliminated corruption and waste in the Private sector and in the Olympics. He cut spending as Governor.

The man understands business, economics, and the need to decentralize power.

Is he perfect? No. No one is. But he doesnt have to be perfect to be an effective and competant leader. He's demonstrated time and time again that he is both.

Occupied only wants to know about the new social programs he can expect.

Still have not sold him to the swing voter, what does that crap even mean to your average non-news watching simpleton? Can you demonstrate that he gives a shit about the working man? That's where candidates win or lose.

Oh please, provide some backup for your claims about a lemon.

Seems that while Obama has damaged both Romney and himself with his massive negative adds, we just had a thread (with a poll) that showed people think Romney is better suited to handle the economy by 2:1.

So just what was it you were saying.

You are right....the swing voter needs to be sold. Right now, they are leaving Oblather...but not flocking to Romney.

The real question is whether Romney can help the working man understand that he should not need government to survive.

Many Republicans had a much different view of the man during the primaries, now they are falling in to line in a way that would be embarrassing to people who had any integrity and pride. In any case the bases of either party are irrelevant, I do not think Romney has been sold sufficiently to the fickle uninformed swing voters enough to ensure victory, not sure he can be sold to them in any other terms than scaring them into voting against Obama.

There is good reason why you never see me comment on poll threads.

I see.

You offer up opinions, but don't want to acknowledge research.

Thanks.

The only poll that matters is the one in November and even that one is fraught with manipulation.
