Democrat Barney Frank got a pass when he denied knowledge of a homosexual call-boy ring operating out of his freaking living room. Maybe it's the good old double standard. Democrat congressman Gary Studds got a standing ovation from fellow democrats when he came back after being convicted of rape of a male congressional page. It must be easy for politicians to be sponsored by the party of no moral values. Maybe Delaware is home to all sorts of quirky people. Isn't that the home state for America's crazy uncle?

I think the point has to do with with the fact that being anti-gay is generally associated more with Republicans than Democrats, so, when an anti-gay Repbublican shows up as a child molesting pervert, it somehow smells a little worse than a non-gay hating Democrat getting caught doing the same thing.

I think it has something to do with hypocrisy - you know, "I think homosexuality is a sin and a perversion, so you shouldn't engage in it but never mind if I want to fondle a few young boys now and then."
