The history of civilization is filled with mayhem caused by the words of thugs and dictators who say we losing something and it is their fault. We need the devil back for the devil was so wonderful a cause of all things. In America sometime in the seventies and eighties we lost the devil, he was replaced by government. The war against government grew from business opposition to the New Deal and it merged with cultural issues which then found the religious devil useless even for the religious, and so they substituted the government. Business and church came together in this fight against the new devil. While freedom is a hazy imaginary thing in America, the government is real and thus the enemy.

But so many enormous ironies exist in this new marriage of money and church, for while the devil, aka gov, causes all that is bad, it is still required for its deep pockets and it law which must bailout the crooks and also enforce religious injunctions. An odd coalition that must stay together by not looking too closely at their partner, for if they looked they'd find that even they would want different worlds. Odd huh.

• I drive nearly every day on unpaved, dirt paths. It doesn't effect my day in any capacity whether it's dirt or pavement and the idiot liberal has been incapable so far in explaining their obsession with pointing out "roads" as an excuse for their socialism.
