Another Obama Administration Scandal Explodes into the News​

Is it any wonder given what has taken place over the last four years that the Obama administration is closing out 2012 mired in massive scandals?

As I say, this scandal seems to run much deeper than a relationship between Petraeus and Broadwell. The whole thing is a mess and it shows, at a minimum, that Obama and his appointees are incapable of running a government that is ethical and trustworthy. At this point, we shouldn’t trust any Obama agency to “investigate” anything. This crisis of confidence is roiling Washington and is bound to launch a thousand congressional hearings that will shed more heat than light.

Uh, Petraeus is Republican. Broadwell/Kelley has past associations with a Congressional Republican. An FBI agent, initially assigned to this case, became "personally involved" when he began sending sexy self-photos to a party in the investigation. The same agent then contacted a congressional Republican, hoping for political payoff.

This actually looks far more scandalous for the GOP than for the White House. I think Republicans may be sorry they opened this can of worms--look for the story to begin quickly fading from the Drudge Report.

Petraeus is and has been an Obama appointee. He's working in the Obama administration.

Uh, Petraeus is Republican. Broadwell/Kelley has past associations with a Congressional Republican. An FBI agent, initially assigned to this case, became "personally involved" when he began sending sexy self-photos to a party in the investigation. The same agent then contacted a congressional Republican, hoping for political payoff.

This actually looks far more scandalous for the GOP than for the White House. I think Republicans may be sorry they opened this can of worms--look for the story to begin quickly fading from the Drudge Report.

Hmm.., Aren't you the same person that was helping shout General Betrayus in 2007 along with Moveon, NY Slimes and the rest of the Socialist Progressive lemmings? Nice try put in this case you can't try to obfuscate the failings of this administration and place all the blame on Petreaus. Petreaus as a military officer has served at the wishes of the preisdent(s) and never showed his political leanings. Suddenly he is being shown as a biased political partisan. That just doesn't pass the smell test. It's all on Obama and those that surround him. If that is the test of judgement. Oblamer fails badly.

After Benghazi, IRS tea party probe: Govt seized AP phone records

Exactly ten days ago, President Barack Obama was piously telling reporters who cover him that free speech and an independent press are “essential pillars of our democracy.” On Monday, the Associated Press accused his administration of undermining that very pillar by secretly obtaining two months’ worth of telephone records of AP reporters and editors.

“We regard this action by the Department of Justice as a serious interference with AP’s constitutional rights to gather and report the news,” AP President and Chief Executive Officer Gary Pruitt wrote in a letter to Attorney General Eric Holder.

The latest revelations are sure to pour fuel on the fire of Republican-driven Richard Nixon comparisons. They come in the wake of revelations that the IRS may have improperly scrutinized the tax-exempt status of conservative, tea party-linked groups. This might, in order words, not be a great time to announce a groundbreaking trip to China.
