Looks like EU is getting tired of “democracy” in Ukraine. 3 years ago EU supported ANTI-constitutional coup in Ukraine, tried to keep its eyes closed and ears plugged when official Kiev started killing and throwing in prison all its political opponents and even started civil war in Donbass (against the people who had referendum under Ukrainian bullets and with over 80% agreed not to have anything to do with ugly Ukrainian future). And Western Media has been doing its best to cover the truth.

Today the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) adopted a resolution on the new Ukrainian law on education. This controversial law has already attracted harsh criticism from Ukraine's neighboring states.

"The new Ukrainian education act does not appear to strike an appropriate balance between the official language and the languages of national minorities," the resolution read.

Out of 110 lawmakers, as many as 82 parliamentarians voted for the document
Ukraine's New Education Law Undermines Minorities' Rights - PACE Resolution

as stated by the Advisory Committee on the Framework Convention: "Language is an essential component of individual and collective identity. For many persons belonging to national minorities, language is one of the main factors of their minority identity and identification." Thus, the result will be assimilation, not integration.

"In particular, the new law entails a heavy reduction in the rights previously recognized to 'national minorities' concerning their own language of education," PACE said.

"Hungary will block all steps within the European Union that would represent a step forward in Ukraine's European integration process in the spirit of the Eastern Partnership program," "We can guarantee that all this will be painful for Ukraine in future," Hungary's Minister of Foreign Affairs has announced.

There is NO evidence of that, no satellite pictures of Russian troops in Donbass. Wake up, Toddster, it's 21st century, satellites know about every step made on the Earth. Too bad, so many people prefer to fall into Soros propaganda and this to help him in his dirty and bloody activity all over the world including your own country of USA.

Foreign Policy Journal:
Now, one week on, Ukrainian forces have solidified their defenses and moved forward the sort of heavy weaponry, including battle tanks, that was supposed to be removed from the front lines as part of the Minsk II Agreement.

Since last abandoning its policy of disengagement last fall, Ukraine has been making increasingly frequent incursions into the “gray zone” — the no man’s land between government and separatist forces along the front line that the two sides have fought over since the signing of the first failed peace agreement in September 2014.

Ukraine, Putin continued, “needs money right now and you can best get money from the EU … the U.S., and financial institutions if you portray yourself as a victim of aggression.”

But the fighting in eastern Ukraine is complex and as much driven by domestic as international factors. “Right now,” Minakov said, “there is no party of peace in Ukraine.”

Look at the Russian army and its abilities demonstrated in Syria and how efficiently they are cleaning Syria from ISIS (over 87% of Syria is deliberated) and you will understand that if Russian regular troops were in Donbass (as you claim), Kiev would be ruled by Russians (not by Soros puppets) 3 years ago.

And ISIS has been trained and supplied with the most modern weapons directly from Washington, while Ukrainian Army was neither trained nor well weaponed.

P.S. Russian speaking people in Ukraine are not "minority", it's either half of population or majority of the population, which official Kiev forces to educate in Ukrainian language.

It is interesting how this issue is resolved in other countries. I mean many European countries as well as the US have a group of people who are considered national minorities there. Do they (the minorities) have a right to have schools (state owned and state funded) where the curriculum is completely drawn up in the minority language?

USA, Canada, Belgium and quite a few other countries, where there are native representatives of more than one language, have 2 or more state languages.

Russian Crimean Status in 2017 - myMusings

FYI, in Crimea after the re-unification with Russia there are 3 state languages: Russian, Ukrainian and Tatar. However according to Ukrainian propaganda "Russia is an aggressor!" And if Russia treats its people a lot batter than Ukraine, how should we call Ukraine following its own "logic"?

Regardless of what uniform terrorists wear, there are special Russian officers, who go to the enemy's territory in advance, figure out where their positions are and then coordinate the fire for Russian aircrafts.

That's how a 25 y.o. Russian officer Alexandr Prokhorenko was killed near Palmyra a couple of years ago (he was on the ISIS territory a week before Palmyra deliberation started). RIP, dear Russian hero, a lot of us have been praying for it.

no satellite pictures of Russian troops in Donbass.

You can tell the nationality of troops from satellite pictures?

Ukraine, Putin continued, “needs money right now and you can best get money from the EU … the U.S., and financial institutions if you portray yourself as a victim of aggression.”

Well, since they're a victim of Russian aggression, how should they portray themselves?

You can tell which uniform the troops are wearing from satellite pictures. Actually, drones are even better. Russia kills terrorists in Syria very accurately using their drones.

The Syrian terrorists are wearing uniforms?

Regardless of what uniform terrorists wear, there are special Russian officers, who go to the enemy's territory in advance, figure out where their positions are and then coordinate the fire for Russian aircrafts.

That's how a 25 y.o. Russian officer Alexandr Prokhorenko was killed near Palmyra a couple of years ago (he was on the ISIS territory a week before Palmyra deliberation started). RIP, dear Russian hero, a lot of us have been praying for it.

How many of those special Russian officers are on Ukrainian soil?

We'll talk about that when there is a sane evidence of Russian regular troops present in Donbass.

Meanwhile Ukraine has signed "Minsk agreements" a couple of years ago, which Ukraine had to implement step by step during one year to stop the war in Donbass under the supervision of Russia, Germany and France. It includes more than 10 stages. During 2 years Ukraine hasn't even implemented stage 1. And it's not Russia's or Putin's fault.

Putin: it is necessary to convince our partners in Kiev to perform the clear obligations they have undertaken by signing the Minsk Agreements. These are not some secret agreements; the entire text is available online. What does it say?

Kiev agreed to amend the Constitution by the end of 2015. We cannot do it for them.

To adopt the amnesty law. It has been adopted, but never signed. I am not the President of Ukraine, so I cannot sign the law for him.

To implement the special status law. The legislation was adopted, but never put into effect; instead it was postponed in a clever way: by adopting another amendment, Article 10 or something, which delayed its enforcement.

Well, they could manoeuvre endlessly, but they cannot expect us to do something we cannot do.

CIS-EMO political analyst of an International Monitoring Organization, Stanislav Byshok, Aug 21, 2016 :
Honestly, I don’t understand why Ukraine needs Donbass. Let’s suggest tomorrow all the rebels will put their weapons aside and Ukraine will have its border with Russia back, what will Ukraine gain? Four million people, who have a lot of reasons to hate Ukraine, all those people will have to be supplied with jobs and food. That’s why I think, Poroshenko is the last person in the world, who wants Donbass back. Actually, I think comeback of Donbass is his worst nightmare.
