Another Mexican Military incursion....!

Reported on CNN/Lou Dobbs tonight:
Yesterday Three humvees and 1400lbs of MJ intruded into the US 50miles East of El Paso, Texas some 12miles and were confronted by Sheriffs Deputies and Highway patrol officers..The perps were dressed in Mexican Miltary attire w/auto weapons...A standoff ensued and two vehicles escaped back into Mexico,one vehicle and 1400lbs of MJ seized by the officers....


This has been ongoing since the 1970's...I remember while working as a Customs Patrol officer out of Yuma,Az in 1977 we encountered a semi truck and trailer loaded with some 5000kilos of MJ and escorted by Mexican Federalies w/auto weapons, a gunfight ensued we were outgunned but escaped without injury(a miracle) however two of our vehicles sustained bullet hole damage...the perps escaped back into Mexico....


I do believe it is past time to do away with the posse comatatus law...and let our military assist Border Officers in this obvious envasion of our country!

Sad but true...actually I believe that Mexico is making dry runs for a future invasion...they are becomming more and more daring than in the past old days! Where is Andrew Jackson when ya need him?

If the Mexicans think getting past border security is going to be a good test for invasion, they have another thing coming. Let's look at where they have to invade. There's Texas. Can it get any more dumb than trying to occupy Texas. The last time Mexico invaded Texas, they were held off by a bunch of normal citizens at a church. At least two of them were politicians and one was on his deathbed. They ran out of frickin' ammo before they fell, for goodness sake!

Then there's Arizona, which is full of wild animals, which also means it's full of guns and people who can use them.

Their best bet is probably New Mexico, as it is more sparsely populated than Arizona, but still, same scenario.

Lastly, there's Southern California, which is sort of hit or miss, depending on how loyal the gangs and banditos are to Mexico.

The easiest thing to do would probably be to invade Canada and come in through gun control crazy New England.

On a side note, I think this is perfect justification for a) the Minutemen and b) rolling back automatic weapons bans in border states.

Agreed. Mexico won't let us bring troops across the border to film a movie, but they come across with drugs? I say we consider ourselves in a de facto state of war and start shooting them on sight.

Well I suppose the Mexicans could invade the southwest USA... and probably make great advances right up until they run into Ft. Bliss, Ft. Sam Houston, and a few air bases out there like Nellis. I dare say the Cav outfits out there would have a field day and pretty much view it as a training event.
Heck, it might even make a good movie!

is why the Governors of Texas,Arizona,and California fail to send National Guard troops to the borders to support the Border Officers...they send them for security for Hurricanes,and riots why not the State borders with Mexico?

Since our wonderful administration continues to turn a blind eye...they should release activated National Guard troops from the Middle East to protect our borders!IMO
