Another Libertarian-esque Member..

Though I refuse to label myself, politically, as anything but a defender of individual rights, I'll say that I'm closest to a Libertarian. Just got the internet at my apartment and checked the Tucson, Arizona Ron Paul meetup.com site to find that no one had replied to my posts -- for months. So here I have decided to join and get into some fast-paced discussion.

Thanks for the welcome. No, I'm not voting for Barr tomorrow, though I considered it. I will be voting for McCain in hopes of an Obama defeat in Arizona. This state is historically red, so I'm sure McCain will carry it.

I am mostly interested in the propositions in my state, to be honest. A proposed regulation on marriage, a proposed regulation on the payday loan industry. There are some ludicrous ones.
