For the vacancy in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, one of the most important Federal Courts in the nation, Trump has nominated Matthew Peterson.
He was grilled yesterday, before the Senate Judiciary Committee, by John Kennedy, Republican, Louisiana. Peterson exhibited an astounding lack of judicial knowledge about the position he has been nominated for. He could not answer basic questions of trial procedure and exhibited a disturbing lack of knowledge about the law itself. His nomination will in all likely hood be put on hold, as it should be.
This is so typical of Trump's nominees to fill important positions. To him qualifications don't matter. What matters is whether or not they supported his run for the Presidency and had nothing but nice things to say about him. This is a narcissistic President with a belly full of himself who could care less about this nation, despite his lies to the contrary. His only qualification is playing golf, and he does not even excel at that. Bigly!
