    No War for ....Weinershnitzel and Anime. Thats all FDR wants is Germany and Japans endless supply of franks and cartoons. :eek:

    Nah, he was after the cheap cars from Japan. The cartoons were a product of the aftermath of the war.

    It was in "The Animatrix" special features. Manga, which is comic books drawn in the anime style and on just about anything, was born out of the fact that Japan's non-existant infastructure had no way to show any other mass entertainment like television and movies. Manga was also cheap, and easy to afford for the broke citizens. Once TV started phasing back in, some artists took advantage of manga's popularity and started making it for TV.

    Yeah, still, no war for German beer and hot Japanese hookers.
