Another GOP Debate This Morning

"They want to take more money from people so they can grow government"

Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Essssssssssssssssss

Paul hits the nail on the head.

Massively significant economic issues with this country right now and we want to focus on this crap about who's more of a politician than the other politicians.

it's true. we do have massive economic (and debt) issues and the politicians want to play political games to get votes. but do you know why they do?

Quiet down, flipflopper Romney. The only way he works together with other parties is by talking out of both sides of his mouth.

Newt really did work with Clinton occasionally.

Good foreign policy point, Ron.

Yeah but Santorum was correct when he said that everything Paul wants to do that Republicans like, he can't accomplish and everything that makes Republicans nervous he can do on day one.

This is misleading.

Everything that republicans like about him he CAN do, which would start in large part with him vetoing every single bill that hits his desk that grows government or isn't a balanced budget.

If you're a conservative, that's the biggest appeal, because past republican presidents have just as bad of a track record of signing legislation that grows government and increases debt as democrat presidents have had.

The difference is Santorum does not ever mention where he will get the money to pay for his massive WWIII like foreign policy, that's the difference.

Santorum also never once talks about where he would cut to balance the budget, of course Paul get's nothing passed, Paul tries to cut spending... Of course Santorum has a record of passing bills, he spent shit tons of money.

What Paul would do is force congress to be fiscally conservative before he'll sign legislation into law, or else expose them as the spenders they are if they work together to override his vetos.

So then we have another do nothing congress and WH. I couldn't trust RP as president, it would be one term and a waste of time. Nothing would get done at all.

how depressing is it that there is one candidate that is even remotely worried about our debt and there is no way the republican party is gonna nominate him. better tell your kids to start saving more money now. the government is gonna be coming for it when they get older.

This is a matter of opinion. I see both parties as being the problem, so I don't look at it like you do. I don't see it as simple as just "working together".

What we need first is a president who's going to keep both parties honest.
