ANOTHER GOLDEN oportunity for liberals to RUN and HIDE from reality about Obama Admin

you're right in general about bush, but you forget to mention that most of his open ending spending was done with a republican majority. most conversatives are now admitting that bush was not a conservative.

And the fact is that most conservatives are pissed now. How come they weren't pissed when they controlled the House for six years and the Senate for four? It's as if they believe Bush suddenly became spend-happy in 2007!

It would be one thing if they were consistently criticizing Bush throughout his incompetent fiscal tenure. But they don't have a great deal of credibility now and are difficult to take seriously.

And for the record, given the tremendous problems in the economy, one trillion dollar budget deficit does not bother me, maybe even two. But if the first Obama term is marked by trillion dollar deficits every year, that is a serious problem. The government MUST get the spending under control in the not-too-distant future. If they don't, the Democrats will be just as incompetent on fiscal matters as the Republicans have been for the past 30 years.

Its amusing to see the Bush-apologists scream about the deficit when Bush and the incompetent GOP ran deficits during expansion, and they hid much of the cost of the Iraq war off the books.

However, that graph has GOT to be fixed. Much of it is because of Obama and the Democrats. They MUST fix it, or we are fucked.

What Bush apologists? Like many conservatives, I am pissed at President Bush for his loose spending and his lack of testicular fortitude in vetoing all the exceesive money spent by the libtarded Democrat Parody controlled Congress -- especially that first scam at the end of his tenure involving TARP.

The point is that nobody is excusing what he did. It's just kind of pointless NOW, him being no longer the one in the Oval Office and all.

That guy who IS in the Oval Office, now? Why, gee. That would be President Obama. Try to focus.

The amount of spending done with the Dem majority was not exactly inconsiderable. Just that last year in office alone.

In any case, nobody I talk with is letting THEM off the hook either.

"Lib" is nowadays pretty much synonymous with "Democrat." This is so since guys like Soros bought the Party by controlling the finances early on in the election cycles.

"Conservative," sadly, is nowhere near synonymous, however, with Republican. Many (maybe most) Republicans in office are whimpering, simpering, rudderless and lacking in any firm political ideology. Having them in the Repbulican Party is like handing out extra Congressional votes to the Democrat Party.

But the Obama Administration "plan" ignores reality, ignores the CBO, ignores logic. And the Dem Party is just, sheep-like, down with it. It simply cannot be the case that none of the Democrats recognize this. When the CBO constantly issues these warnings, but the Dems blindly rush -- plunge -- ahead on their same dangerous and irrational "plan," there can be no later excuses like "Oh DARN! If only we had known! We just didn't KNOW!"

Everybody knows. But few people in Democrat-land are SAYING anything or offering any opposition. Some. Not many.
