Another Failed Presidency

Historically, our greatest presidents have had two things in common...
1. They followed horrible presidents- Lincoln followed Buchannon, FDR followed Hoover, Reagan followed Carter. Obama follows Bush rated as the 39th of 43 presidents

2. They faced extreme challenges- Lincoln faced the Civil War, FDR faced a depression and WWII, Reagan faced the Cold War and the Carter recession. Obama comes in facing the worst recession in 70 years and wars on two fronts.

Obama has been in 8 months. During that time, he enacted economic measures to reverse an economy on the brink of collapse. Leading economic experts predict an end to the recesssion by late fall. Obama refocused the two wars, de-emphasizing the Iraq war and going after the Taliban in Afghanistan. After over 80 years of trying, the nation is on the verge of its first comprehensive health care plan.

Obama has alot of work remaining, but all signs point to a top 10 presidency

Obama is not my choice but what he is what I fought for, the majority choice.

This is nothing more than another ham-handed attempt to delegitimize the Obama presidency. Tactics like the "birthers", those who distort and outright lie about the health care reform, those who forget that the bush administration presided over the collapse of the banking system, those who shout "Communist!" or "Fascist!" or "Socialist!" or "Liar!" at the president are all wrapped up in a grand conspiracy to indoctrinate the nation in the warped, exclusive and dangerous ideology that has captured the Republican party.

"We the People" elected Obama to do a job. At the time of his election, it was acknowledged he had a tough job to do. Collapsed economy, two wars, fractured Congress. Few Presidents have entered office with the challenges that Obama was given.
The Constitution that "We the People" live under gives the man four years to do his job before he must run for reelection.
To claim "Failed Presidency" afte 8 months reeks of partisan prejudice. Give him time to acheive what he was elected to do

Barack Obama is on track to have the most spectacularly failed presidency since Woodrow Wilson.

I'm finding it pretty humorous that Bush supporters want to wait for the "Verdict of History" on Mr. Bush, but are quick to call Obama's Presidency a failure at less than 1 year in.

When it comes to Clinton, Bush, and Obama, we're just too close to the events to know yet. Get back to me on who turned out to be a failure in 20 years or so.
