Another dumb question, Part II

OK... I'm messing around with attachments and found a page of all the attachments I've ever made on the board (I think all of them anyway).... my little red bar was all the way to the right saying "file too big" etc. There's also a place that says "Manage attachments".

My question: do I have a limit to the number of attachments I can make? Do I have to delete them from my manage attachments when I reach a certain point, and 3) once I delete them from my list, will they still be posted on the board?
