The Fed needs an excuse to NOT raise interest rates next month. Right now we have near 0% interest rates on treasury bills even though obozo tells us the unemployment rate is a historically low 5%. Why do we have absurdly low interest rates if the economy is so strong.??

Fact is the economy is very weak and obozo is lying yet again. The fed cannot raise interest rates and yet they don't want to postpone the promised rate increase again since that would indicate just how weak the economy really is. But is some big disaster hits america soon. the fed has it's excuse to not raise rates.

The Federal Reserve does not need any excuse. It is a private bank with no governmental oversight.

Why would you think there will be another 9-11 is a few weeks based on what you said initially?

As i said they want to NOT raise rates and need a really good excuse not to since yellen has been promising it forever. If they just choose to postpone again that will convince everyone that all the economic data ares lies. Face it - if GDP is growing 2% a year and unemployment is 5% then the economy is sound and we can certainly handle interest rates higher than they are now. In fact we should be able to handle rates like we had 20 years ago though no one is thinking of going that high.

There may be another false flag event in the near future but it has nothing to do with President Obama and everything to do with keeping the War on Terror going. Selling the materials of war is the most profitable business there has ever been. Stocks went up for arms manufacturers after the Paris attacks.

What better to keep the war spending going but another terrorist attack?
