Except unlike Iran, China was not governed by religious extremists. Iran doesn't care about mutually assured destruction, they firmly believe Allah will protect them from destruction.

I remember reading, years back, how it's scientists & the (various) militaries who control ALL nukes.....no matter which country you're talking-about....and, they're not about to cede control (of them) to any religious nut-jobs.​

The Scientists have little to no say in nuclear arms, the Military has pretty much seen to that.

He gives the command, the nukes would fly. The Military is controlled by the religion. By Proxy so are the scientists, whether they want to be or not.
