The Anonymous hacking group says it has hacked into the website of Israel‘s Mossad spy agency, gaining access to top-secret documents.


The Internet hacking group said on its twitter page that it gained access to the personal data of more than 30,000 Israeli officials, including military officials, politicians and Mossad agents, and that it will release the information gradually.

Hacking group Anonymous has launched a series of cyber attacks against Israeli websites since November 2012 in retaliation for Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip.

Anonymous said it had launched the OpIsrael campaign following threats by Tel Aviv to cut all Gaza's telecommunication links.

Shortly after the pro-Palestinian campaign was launched, dozens of Israeli websites were defaced or attacked.

Many of the sites had their homepages replaced with messages in support of Hamas and the Palestinians.

Hackers have tried before to topple Israeli sites.

In January last year, a hacker network that claimed to be based in Saudi Arabia paralyzed the websites of Israel's stock exchange and national airline and claimed to have published details of thousands of Israeli credit cards.

Hmm.

Punishing the Jewish people for the actions of the top level Zionists isn't the way to go. Judaism and Zionism are diametrically opposed, most Jews today oppose Zionism; but the top level leadership, under the control of the International Banks, answers to master far above their Jewish people.

Al-Akhbar can confirm that the sites of ISS Congress, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office, the Tel Aviv stock exchange, the Defense Ministry, the Finance Ministry and several others were down at 2:30 AM local time Sunday.

Israel has staged incursions into some West Bank towns, such as Hebron, in recent hours, raiding houses and confiscating computers, according pan-Arab network Al-Mayadeen and several activists.
