A caterpillar crawling on a sidewalk in Chinatown (San Francisco, USA) is smushed by a pedestrian, and only a young boy notices.

The young boy wonders why everyone has a built-in mini-camera in their handy-dandy mobile phones but insists on walking around the city like drones, obsessed with work and neglectful of nature and the human spirit.

Why aren't they stopping to smell the roses? Why aren't they taking snapshots of caterpillars crawling on sidewalks?

Perhaps belief is simply related to imagination.
