I don't see it happening until people's little comfort bubbles are impacted.

If the Dems try and enact a gun ban it will be game on. I hate to say that because I know how terribly bloody it will be, but I am hearing more and more law enforcement saying that what the dems are doing is unconstitutional, and they don't like it one bit.

I posted a similar sentiment and I was admonished by management. Apparently, Will believes that, if a hostile actor seizes power, we're supposed to bend over as he plans to do. What a pussy!

I still hold out hope that the Supreme Court would overturn any bans and confiscations based on the Heller and Miller decisions. However, you never know. The outcome should they actually enact them? I don't even want to speculate.

I think you are correct.
I just think people already have chosen.
They have chosen to put their heads in the sand and "Hope" that things will be ok. (when history dictates otherwise)
They have chosen to value what they currently possess rather than risk all that to oppose the coming changes. (But they will lose it all and them some anyway)
They have chosen a little bit of false security over their freedom (which they will eventually lose entirely anyway)

The progression to tyranny will not be an overnight one, but rather a slow, step by step progression and erosion of rights, until none are remaining.

Anyone who denies we are clearly on that path already is a fool.
