That is just sad. I question how small the percentage is of Americans that are that stupid. Not only can you point at failure of the education system but also the failure of parents to instill any form of drive in their children to WANT to learn or at least be partially informed as to how things work.

Of course, learning takes motivation. She probably believes collecting a welfare check is difficult and should be made easier than it is. I mean, filling out those forms probably take away from her time of making babies and meeting new guys on the interwebz!

Learn to be oppressed seems to be the new education.
