Of all the business in the world, the one I find incredibly hard to understand how one can go bankrupt and have insufficient cash flows to survive a reorg instead of having to just outright close up shop and put people out of work. The good Lord and Donald Trump know how to do that. Caesars doesn't.
I mean really. When you run a business that has the huge volumes of cold hard cash flowing through, what kind of mess must one be or be in to not weather the storm?

And what, among other things did Trump say was most significant about his failed casinos?

In three interviews with The Times since late April, Mr. Trump acknowledged in general terms that high debt and lagging revenues had plagued his casinos. He did not recall details about some issues, but did not question The Times’s findings. He repeatedly emphasized that what really mattered about his time in Atlantic City was that he had made a lot of money there.

The most important thing wasn't how he made sure his employees at the casinos found comparable jobs elsewhere. It wasn't the deep pangs of anguish he felt over those folks losing their jobs. Nothing like either of those things was what was important. But I guess that's not surprising seeing as Trump "believe me" cares about middle class, blue collar folks. Not!

According to the write-up's he simply robbed them blind himself.

Essentially he paid himself more salaries than he was worth, and then he let his investors foot the bill.

This is commonly called fleecing. He fleeced them.

Oh yet again something you don't understand, and simply got your talking point from Hillary
