You don't know what Maliki's requests were and whether or not strikes requested by Maliki would have been effective at slowing ISIL's advance into Mosul and Tikrit. There are countless scenarios at what would have happened if Obama listened to John McCain and others like him and you. So you are riding with McCain on a US military attack on ISIL a few months earlier than the current strikes? Yet you must oppose McCain for getting up on the stage in Kiev with the Svoboda gangs and inciting the riots over there. Blame ISIL. They are the killers and responsible for the blood they are letting.
