An Interesting Read About Cuba

I've been reading a lot of negative articles about our “normalization” of relations with Cuba. Most of it deals with this being a move to cement the Castro rule over the impoverished island.


However, this article from one who spent time in a diplomatic position dealing with Cuba presents an interesting view of what is going on in the island.

I'm not sure what he is suggesting. Be aware of the role of the military in Cuba's power structure, but don't do anything overtly - other than low-level cooperation.

Maybe we could support a military coup.
