Among the haves, who benefits from what?

Attempting to educate oneself about this healthcare bill is not easy. The nutters on both sides will try to tell you otherwise, but the truth is there is a lot of conflicting information out there and distinguishing fact from fiction is often at best an educated guess.

Here is my educated guess: This struggle is really between competing factions among the "haves." And like always, it doesn't matter who wins, we the people lose.. a little wealth here.. a little liberty there.. accumulating slowly enough as to not cause alarm.

But if I knew for sure one way sped up this accumulation relative to the other, I'd pick the slower of the two.

To help me answer this, I'd like to understand who the winners and losers among the haves are, given each competing outcome.

Who here thinks they can educate me?

The "haves"? I don't understand who they are...I'd like health care reform because I'd like my kids to have the same affordable health care opportunity that my parents have, and I think it is doable.
