America's Unhealthiest Restaurants

When I worked at TGI Friday's all the ladies would order a cajun fried chicken salad, thinking because it had the name "salad" in it, that it was low calorie and healthy. We called it the "Heart Attack Salad." It came with about a cup of hot bacon mustard dressing on the side.

I think Micky' D's just does well based on microscopic portion size.

My big sin is Sherrie's a North West only chain that does hero size portions of chicken fried steak. And the milkshakes come in very large glasses.

I am glad to see lots of places are offering fruit as a substitute for Fries. Subway is very good about this, but I still eat the cookies rather than the fruit. Bad me.

No way any rational person should go into Wendy's or Carl's. Coronary castles both of them.

Wow, you sure have a lot of unhealthy restaurants. The only thing of any of those I've ever seen around here is a Denny's, and it is "fucking delicious" as someone else said. Too bad's on the other side of town, I could really go for a 116-gram piece of fat burger right about... now.

Seriously Denny's? Seriously? They have to be the worst of the worst. Don't think I have been in one since my drunken days back in college!

Nothing better. We used to go there every weekend morning after closing when I was bartending. Their breakfasts are so good.

we used to go after the clubs closed.... the guys all got the Grand Slam Breakfast. ;)

We must have one around here somewhere. I'll have to go one of these days to see whether it's as good as when I was drinking like a fish.

we don't have any here that i know of. but let me know if it's still worth a trip. ;)

What you have here is a list of well-known "popular" restaurants, some of which many of us wouldn't even classify as restaurants. Be that as it may, you're being supplied with this information because these are food service vendors that, generally speaking, can be found across the country, so all of you can identify with them. Of more concern to you should be that the local places you frequent, including your supermarkets, are probably not inspected as often as they should be, and the health inspectors in our office (who do inspect more often than required by law) ALWAYS BRING THEIR OWN LUNCH.

Now that you mention it, pretty much every time I've been at Denny's I've been either toasted or smashed. But hey, the little I remember of it is how tasty it was! The fun thing is that it's next to the casino, so it'd usually be pretty good times whenever we'd go.

Oh, and thinking about it a little more, I think there is an Outback and definitely a TGI Friday's, but they're even on a FURTHER side of town so I don't bother.
