Mr. jc454, the truth is not in you. The scientists from around the world have spoken with a unanimous voice, and they have said we are warming, too rapidly, and that will create a precarious future not only for many humans but also for the other species on this planet.

And the best scientists, in the 70s, said we were on the brink of the next ice age.

You give humans' way too much credit to think our little measly existence, in the grand scheme of things, really matters.
This blue marble has been heating and cooling for eons before Eve said, "Here. Try this"

"unanimous"? :booze: The only "scientists" (most of whom have no background in climate study) who still preach this hooey are being PAID through grants to give the answers the funding agencies want. Even NASA got into the act and later admitted they presented false data.

Really? You actually think that? So why don't you link us to a Scientific Society that states that AGW is not occurring. How about a National Academy of Science? Or a major University? You cannot because there are none. You are simply flapping your yap, with nothing but a vacuum between your ears to back you up.

Nope! They weren't. You're parroting a thoroughly debunked denier cult myth and propaganda meme that has no real basis in reality. The large majority of scientists studying the climate in the 1970's were far more concerned about global warming. This is revealed in the scientific literature of that era.

Abstract
Climate science as we know it today did not exist in the 1960s and 1970s. The integrated enterprise embodied in the Nobel Prizewinning work of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change existed then as separate threads of research pursued by isolated groups of scientists. Atmospheric chemists and modelers grappled with the measurement of changes in carbon dioxide and atmospheric gases, and the changes in climate that might result. Meanwhile, geologists and paleoclimate researchers tried to understand when Earth slipped into and out of ice ages, and why. An enduring popular myth suggests that in the 1970s the climate science community was predicting “global cooling” and an “imminent” ice age, an observation frequently used by those who would undermine what climate scientists say today about the prospect of global warming. A review of the literature suggests that, on the contrary, greenhouse warming even then dominated scientists' thinking as being one of the most important forces shaping Earth's climate on human time scales. More importantly than showing the falsehood of the myth, this review describes how scientists of the time built the foundation on which the cohesive enterprise of modern climate science now rests.

Show me evidence then.

LOLOLOLOLOL......poor deluded and very confused denier cultists....

It is shown to you that most scientists publishing papers about the climate in the 70's were already predicting global warming....and you respond with a video of a newscaster? LOL.

All bought and paid for and swallowed whole by leftist moron atheists like you so can believe in something....anything. You want coal and oil shut down so you can ride your bicycle and read by solar collectors for an hour or two a night.

So where's the Katrina force hurricanes, submerged coastlines, and sunken islands that Fat Albert said would have us by now, asshole?
