Agree; foreign data was often gathered from a single daily reading on a thermometer on a verandah. No disrespect to the 1800s but frankly the technology of the 2000s is far more accurate. Mind you; I don't know of many people who consulted trees about daily temperatures.

Ummmm.........99% of the people aren't spending time in the nether-regions of the internet finding out about this stuff, either way. But over the past few years, they sure as hell are walking out of their house between October and May and freezing their nut sacks off......shoveling snow for months......seeing the Great Lakes frozen solid. Its called reality.........which is 95% perception. To these people, the whole global warming hysteria is a crock, thus, every single poll showing "global warming" at the bottom of the list of public concerns ( about 21st out or 22 )!! In other words, the AGW hysterical propaganda isn't working. In the bigger picture, that's all that matters. Not to mention that most people aren't stoopid enough to get freaked out over a temperature rise of .5 degree's over the last century.


In 2015, the AGW community still hasn't made its case..........not even close.

Is there a satellite record that only covers the US....whenever I see satellite graphs they are labeled as global...which match the temperatures gathered by CRN.

The standard adjusted temperature record shows the same warming as the global adjusted record...the CRN requires no adjustment and shows a cooling trend...what, exactly makes you think that if the CRN were extended to cover the world the same cooling trend wouldn't be apparent just the same as the satellite record?
