Americans Will Suffer Under New Obamacare Mandates

That is your argument?

Wilkow is right, liberals are wrong...end of story

Ok, end of story. So we shouldn't expect to hear you chime in anymore then.

Cowboy's an idiot, dont try debating him, all he'll do is say youre wrong cause your a liberal (i.e. socialist). thats the extent of his intelligence.

Oh I know. I don't take him serious. His posts are purely for entertainment value, much like many of the fringe element that post on this site.

I stopped trying to rationalize with these people ages ago. This is a comedy site, not a political discussion board.

Skynet and RDD_1210, two of the great debaters. LMAO

You two stupid MF'ers never make a point.

Please explain the following:

1. Why I should have to pay for someone else’s healthcare?

2. Where is that in the Constitution?

3. How is it that the Government can force me to buy a product? What gives them the power?

4. If I have to pay for their healthcare because they cannot afford it, then why should I not have to pay for housing, their food, their clothing and give them spending money etc?

5. What do I get in return?

6. If I get nothing in return, then how are not all created equal?

7. What about my rights as an individual?

 This should be good

Please explain the following:

1. Why I should have to pay for someone else’s healthcare? you actually already do by paying your current health insurance premiums, or do you not undertand how health insurance work

2. Where is that in the Constitution? http://www.usconstitution.net/constnot.html - whole list of things not in the constitution including the Air Force, Executive Order, Slavery, and the Right to Vote.

3. How is it that the Government can force me to buy a product? What gives them the power? under the commerce clause and ruling by the supreme court, the government can tax and regulate interstate commerce. just as they can mandate you purchase car insurance prior to getting a drivers license.

4. If I have to pay for their healthcare because they cannot afford it, then why should I not have to pay for housing, their food, their clothing and give them spending money etc? its already been established that hospitals can not turn away patients, hence you already paying for their free health care whether you like it or not. wouldnt you prefer that everyone has to pay into the system? or do you like that they already get it for free? you also already pay taxes that support social security, and welfare. the same people who are already receiving your " free health care". guess you need to start rallying against those programs too

5. What do I get in return? you get access to cheaper health care because everyone is paying into the system

6. If I get nothing in return, then how are not all created equal? if you pay your premiums you get health care, what do you want? a smiley face sticker?

7. What about my rights as an individual? what about your individual rights? tell me what rights are being taken away.

youre responses ought to be really good.

I dont know about his. My response is that you're an idiot.
First, when you buy health insurance, you aren't paying for anybody else's anything. You are sharing the risk of high medical bills with the insurer. You clearly don't know what insurance is.
Second, everything you mention is in the Constitution. But just because not everything is in the Constitution does not mean nothing is in the Constitution.
Third, if we already pay taxes for indigent support etc, why is this necessary? Also why should we be paying such taxes to begin with?
Fourth, healthcare will be more expensive, not cheaper, because there will be no incentives to cost control. Or haven't you been reading the papers?
Fifth, I do not have the right to sit and be left alone. If I do nothing I will incur a penalty. Where is the gov't authorized to penalize someone for doing nothing?

insurance is spreading the risk, hence you arent not paying the actual costs for the services rendered. that cost is spread out among the policy holders. hence you are helping to for the services of everyone else through your premiums. just because you dont understand the way insurance works, doesnt mean it isnt true. its the same way car insurance, or life insurance works. you spreak the risk among the many.

can you please point to the individual sections of the constitution where it specifically says: The Air Force, Executive Order, Slavery or the Right to Vote? Because those words do not exist.

taxes are currently at the lowest level in 60 years. your argument is invalid. Bruce Bartlett: Are Taxes in the U.S. High or Low? - NYTimes.com

there are currently no incentives to control costs. hence why health care premiums have risen every year even before the new health care law. from 2000-2009 premiums increased by 100%. what do you attribute that to? the new health care law wasnt even signed until March 2010.

i have always said an easy fix to the mandate is waivers. if you dont want to purchase health insurance, sign the waiver but you accept the fact that hospitals can deny you care, unless you prepay for services. including emergency services.

3. So now healthcare is a tax? So, Obama is raising taxes on everyone? "just as they can mandate you purchase car insurance prior to getting a drivers license" There are many Americans that do not have auto insurance. So it is not a Government mandate is it? It is only required if you want to drive. One does not have to drive. How is it that the Government can force everyone to buy a product?

4. I am already against Social Security and Welfare. Isn't a house more important than healthcare? What good is healthcare if you live on the street? Why don't we need to buy everyone a house or a car? What good is healthcare, if you can't get to the doctor? Doesn't everyone need a car 1st?

5. My healthcare has gone up, not down. When does that discount kick in? If you double the number of people getting healthcare how do the costs go down. You have to be one stupid MFer to beleive that. How does that kool-aid taste, like piss I am guessing?

Insurance is a voluntary pooling of risk. I get less risk in exchange for my premium. I am not paying for anybody else to do anything. It is an exchange of money for service. And a voluntary one. Just because you do not understand the idea of insurance and voluntary exchange does not make invalid.

Insurance premiums are scheduled to go up (and already have) as a direct result of Obamacare's mandates. Or do you think risk is free?

Air force is in Article I Section 8
Executive orders are in Article II, Section I.
Slavery is in Amendment XIII

1 - you missed the point where I said you already pay for other people's health care. try keeping up.

2 - if none of those things are in the constitution why is the government paying for an support them? by your argument the government shouldnt be doing anything that is not specifically listed in the constitution. or you do not even understand your own argument

3 - actually if you would have read the HC law, you would understand that if you do not purchase HC, you will lose a "Tax Credit." similar to a child or education credit, you would simply not qualify for that credit.

4 - tell me how not having a house is equal to you not receiving cancer treatment? hmmmmm i dont have a house i live, i have cancer and it goes untreated i die. not exactly the same. and when again is the government giving you free health care support by taxes? oh thats right they arent! that was the single payer plan that never became a law.

5 - since the majority of the health care law doesnt even take affect until 2014 insurance companies can pretty much do what they want until then. did you once again forget to read that part of the law?

6 - what part of the mandate suggest that no one has to pay? you keep flip flopping saying your against the mandate because it forces people to pay, then change your mind and say youre against the law because it give away free health care to those who dont pay? :cuckoo:

are you paying for the actual cost of your health insurance services? NO! Premium dollars from all plan holders go to pay for the services received. hence you help pay for the health care costs of others. why is that so hard to understand?

explain why insurance costs between 2000 and 2009 doubled? oh thats right because of the new health care law, err.... wait that wasnt even signed until March2010. damn, guess you better find another scape goat for rising insurance costs.

Article 1 Section 8 - no where in the that section are the worlds "Air Force" found, its says "To raise and support Armies"

Article 2 Section 1 - no where in the that section are the worlds "Executive Order" found - it says Executive Power, not executive order

Ill give you a half truism on slavery as it is in the 13th amendment, and i was referring to the original Constitution. (original meaning Constitution and Bill of Rights - Amendments #1- 10). But it does go to the argument that the founders embraced slavery.

It really seems you are too stupid to have this conversation. You are not answering my questions.

1. We pay for some people's emergency room treatement, not everyone's health insurance. Now, let me ask you one last time, try and focus: Why should I have to pay for someone else’s healthcare? See#7 below

2. Again try and focus. I am not being required to do any of those things that you have listed. Now I am being forced to do something or face a penalty. Again, Where is it in the Constitution that I must pay for someone elses health insurance?

3. Wrong!!! I must or I will be pentalized. God you are a stupid MFer.

4. WTF? Who has cancer? Everyone needs a house. Not everyone need cancer treatement.

5. Once again, What do I get in return for paying for someone elses healthcare?

6. If I get nothing in return, then how are not all created equal?

7. 45% of Americans pay zero in federal income tax. Those people will not be paying for health insurance.

Those people will not be paying for health insurance.

if you refuse to understand that basic concept that you already pay for other people health care through your insurance, youre an idiot and no one can help you.

in response for #7, since health insurance premiums are not being paid through federal taxes (that was the single payer plan that didnt pass), people are being mandated to purchase health insurance. your argument is invalid because again youve shown you dont understand how the system works.

show me the exact text of the exact document that states tax payer dollars will provide free health care for all american citizens. ill be waiting.....
