The voters want to blame their problems on someone else and want solutions that require them to do nothing based on the Trump and Sanders win.
Trump blames our problems on illegal immigrants, muslims and he will solve the economic problems by the US Government winning in economic negotiations with China and the world.
Sanders blames all of our problems on Wall Street and the solution is more taxes on business, rich people and more regulations.

How about the American people doing something to help themselves. It is a new global economy, new skills are needed.

OK. What new skills do the American people need to do something to help themselves?

blame you say?? How about putting it on the republican moron who left the WH with 10% unemployment and stop blaming the guy who has been bailing us out ? Wages are going up finally after getting so many back working and most all other indicators are pointing in the right directions

Not to necessarily wave Sanders' banner, but I believe he knows that almost all these jobs require at least two years of college, if not lots more. Hence, he would like to make college more accessible without burdening graduates with twenty years of debt for trying to ready themselves for the global economy.

Interesting list. How about a link to go with it?

So your assertion is that people with these skills will do well in the NEW GLOBAL ECONOMONY.

Suppose this NEW GLOBAL ECONOMY future is a bunch of poppycock?

Two years of community college will burden them for 20 years?!? Even 4 years for some in state colleges?!? Where there is a will, there is a way. Many have put themselves thru 4 years without taking out loans.

Government interference is what has caused the college tuition bubble in the first place and Sanders' answer is simply more government interference.

Like I said, just pointing it out, not making the man's argument for him. No need to argue

A bit of lazy generalization to say what he is proposing is just more of the same, don't ya think?

I've no idea what a college tuition bubble is, and it doesn't surprise me that whatever it is, you are blaming it on government interference. But I'm not on any side about college tuition/student loans. Just pointing out the reality out there, folks, and one solution that has been put forward.

"The voters want to blame their problems on someone else..."

Yeah, that would appropriately be the self/party-serving career politicians in both parties that have F*ed this country every which way to Sunday, who refuse to represent the people but instead impose their will on citizens. This was proven when Pelosi declared to the American people that they had no right to know what was in the Obamacare decree until it was passed and imposed upon them.

In 2014 the American people spoke out in historic, record-setting fashion by rejecting both Obama (claiming the election was about HIM and HIS policies/agenda) and the Democrats in the Congress. In the 2016 election process we are seeing citizens reject the establishment candidates. I actually believe that if the majority of Americans were given the ability to pull one lever and kick every established career politician out of office and start over they would do it - across the board.

Everybody wants to blame someone. Our politicians have blame for things that need to be addressed but people need to spend more time figuring out what they can do with the current conditions. There is no place I would rather live and look for a job than the USA.

Those who blame Obama for everything are whiners who should get off their fat asses and take advantage of what our country has to offer. (But not social programs unless you have true need.)

The problem is that people who careers are no longer in demand need to find something to do where there is demand. Don't sit there and whine that Obama has ruined your life. Get off your butt and do something.
Illegal immigrants are coming to the US to take jobs Americans feel they are too good for.If you cannot get another job, you are not too good for it.
At the same time our businesses need to take care of their employees.

16 both parties are going for simple easy answers that will not work in both Trump and Sanders.

If any politician tells the American people the truth on what needs to be done, they will not get elected. Politicians are not the entire problem. The American population needs to look at themselves.
Everybody wants the best for themselves and do not want to give up anything. To fix our problems we all need to give up something; people and businesses. The government has promised us all too much.

Trump claims that illegal criminal aliens are a problem somehow it translates in the low information mind as "Trump blames our problems on illegal aliens". See the difference? Meanwhile Obama blames our problems on Bush. Come to think of it Hillary blamed a you tube video for her problem and John Kerry blamed global warming.

Why the Government is to Blame for High College Costs

a good article on it-
The more money the federal government pumps into financial aid, the more money the colleges charge for tuition. Inflation-adjusted tuition and fees have tripled over those same 30 years while aid quadrupled; the aid is going up faster than the tuition. Thanks to the federal government, massive sums of money are available to pay for massive tuitions.

This has nothing to do with costs. According to Neal McCluskey's research at the Cato Institute, it costs roughly $8,000 a year to educate an undergraduate at an average residential college. Yet the average college bill—including room and board—charged at a private four-year university is $37,000, and $16,000 at a public one. For a long time, college tuition has been rising faster than the inflation rate, which certainly has hurt middle-class families. Colleges can raise tuition with impunity because colleges know they'll get paid no matter what.

That brings us to that second well-intentioned federal goal, that all student loans must be repaid. In 1976 federal law was changed to state that student loans would no longer be "dischargeable," or covered by bankruptcy. Along the way, the federal government also removed the requirement that college students have parents or grandparents co-sign for federal loans, making young students solely responsible for payment in full.

Middle Class and Working CLass wage stagnation is, to a great extent, caused by outsourcing, the huge trade deficit and over supply of cheap Third World Labor in the US domestic market.

This is not "blaming someone else". This is dealing with the reality of the situation.

You are correct in your definition of the problem but:
Trump says the problem can by solved by closing the border, deporting illegal immigrants, get tough on Muslims and be tougher negotiators with China and other major economic powers.
Sanders says that getting tough with Wall Street will solve the problem.
None of that will solve:Middle Class and Working Class wage stagnation is, to a great extent, caused by outsourcing, the huge trade deficit and over supply of cheap Third World Labor in the US domestic market.
