Americans Favor Jobs Plan Proposals, Including Taxing Rich

You people dont care what the American voter thinks do you?

I have asked you several times to provide a more recent poll, showing Obama is more trusted on the deficit.
Can you... or can you not?

It's a fairly simple question TM.. even one with your limited mental faculties should be able to answer it.

Start your won thread about it.
This thread is about Americans not liking the republicans ideas and LIKING what Obama proposed recently

Here you go:

Poll: Most Americans Support Obama Deficit Plan to Tax Rich

September 20, 2011

A Gallup poll released today provides the latest data point in this regard. According to the survey, 66 percent of all Americans favor the idea of raising taxes on individuals earning more than $200,000 and families making more than $250,000 in order to pay for the president’s jobs plan, while only 32 percent oppose the idea. By an even larger margin (70-26), Americans favor eliminating tax deductions for some corporations, thus raising their taxes.

That's why Republicans are doing everything in their power to try to limit Democrats voting rights, from voter ID laws that disenfranchise poor or minority voters to redistricting.

They know that when people vote, Democrats win.

You're gonna start that completely dis proven bullshit...again?

NEG.

Except it hasn't been disproven. Simply saying it has is not proof to the contrary.

No one has debunked the studies that show voter ID laws disproportionally effect poor and minority voters.

Supreme Court Upholds Voter Identification Law in Indiana - New York Times
In a 6-to-3 ruling in one of the most awaited election-law cases in years, the court rejected arguments that Indiana’s law imposes unjustified burdens on people who are old, poor or members of minority groups and less likely to have driver’s licenses or other acceptable forms of identification.

That didn't debunk the studies...it just proved that it didn't matter to some.

So... SCOTUS just doesn't give a sit about poor people or minorities, eh?

Well, if it's a court order, than it must be the Truth. That's TMs standard.

Thte SC shouldnt care about the people, merely the law. Compassion has nothing to do with whether something is legal or not or how a statute/clause is interpreted.

$2 in spending cuts and $1 in revenue.

That's a center-right proposal, people. Obama is upholding the Bush tax cuts on the first $250,000 of everyone's income, including the wealthy! Are there any Republicans who support this at all?

While Democrats are generally more supportive than Republicans of these proposals to create jobs, at least half of Republicans favor four of the six proposals tested.

Republicans are particularly likely to favor the idea of tax cuts for small businesses and tax breaks for companies hiring the long-term unemployed, but also favor providing funds for hiring teachers, police officers, and firefighters, and providing funds for public works projects.

Oh, snap! Looks like there is a consensus on four out of six of these proposals!

Tell me what is more important really:

What the people want

or

The truth of what is good?

Sometimes people have no clue whats good for them. I believe that when educated the majority usually does go for whats best.

But I highly doubt a majority of people want some politician from washington constantly interfering in their lives.

They only want Republicans allowed to vote.

The dont like the government our founders left us.

We don't have the government our founders left us, you stupid bint.

Yes we do little girl.

No ass blood, we don't. Today's federal government is nothing remotely close to what Washington and Jefferson established and you have no right to belittle somebody else because you are one of the dumbest misinformed fucks who post on this forum.

Aren't hiring teachers, Firefighters, Police a local/State issue?
