Mitt Romney: We have been accustomed to being the world’s leading nation for so long, enjoying the freedom, security, and prosperity that comes with that leadership, that we have tended to avoid the hard work that overcoming challenges require.

Rep. Steve King (R-Iowa): We can't have a nation of slackers ...We've gotta get this country back to work and get people out of the slacker rolls and onto the employed rolls.

Michele Bachmann: Our nation needs to stop doing for people what they can and should do for themselves. Self reliance means, if anyone will not work, neither should he eat.

Herman Cain: Don't blame Wall Street, don't blame the big banks. If you don't have a job and you're not rich, blame yourself.

Sharron Angle: And so that's what's happened to us is that we have put in so much entitlement into our government that we really have spoiled our citizenry and said you don't want the jobs that are available.

Can you believe that? Republicans think the problem is that Americans are lazy?
What a bunch of assholes.

These are all references to Democrats, correct...soooo.. accept your reality..

I know, I know..it's difficult, it may even be your first time...

I can verify that the Obama supporters, especially the union suck asses that I work with, are easily the laziest shits I have ever been around. They will answer the phone at the most inappropriate times, play video games while others around them are working harder to make up for their garbage ass screwing off. They are always the first to take a break when they haven't done anything so far and the first to take lunch and be gone over an hour when we are actually scheduled a half hour.
I'm twice the age of many of them and get told to slow down, chill, "you're making us look bad old man". This country is going down the tubes and I'm hoping I'm gone before it happens.

It would be quite refreshing to have a President after the next election that understood the plight and would fight for the private sector and not be so bend on licking the butts of the pubic unions...

Just the Gen X er Y losers are lazy...

They don't care about anyone but themselves.

How Canada stole the American Dream
June 25, 2008

The numbers are in. Compared to the U.S., we work less, live longer, enjoy better health and have more sex. And get this: now we're wealthier too.

..... we live longer and have fewer diseases. We have more sex, more sex partners and we're more adventurous in bed, but we have fewer teen pregnancies and fewer sexually transmitted diseases. We spend more time with family and friends, and more time exploring the world. Even in crime we come out ahead: we're just as prone to break the law, but when we do it, we don't get shot. Most of the time, we don't even go to jail.

...... there's a subset of Americans who are just like Canadians. "Left-wing urban Americans," he says. "Canada is just a country of left-wing urban Americans."

Macleans.ca
- work less
- retire earlier
- wealthier
- less debt
- more holidays
- live longer
- enjoy better health
- more sex
- more sex partners
- more adventurous in bed
- fewer teen pregnancies
- fewer sexually transmitted diseases
- more time with family and friends
- more time exploring the world
- fewer divorces
- less violent crime

Canadians are able to work less, save more and retire earlier than their American counterparts because private wealth is more equitably distributed and not as concentrated in the hands of the 1%.

Working Americans should face the facts that they will never be able to work hard enough to satisfy those "hired guns" representing "Big Business, such as Mitt Romney, Rep. Steve King (R-Iowa), Michele Bachmann, Herman Cain and Sharron Angle.

Fewer people....

30,000,000 vs 300,000,000

Totally different countries with totally different legislation systems and different constitutions...

Ever hear of the Fourth Amendment? oh yeah Canada doesn't recognize the US Fourth Amendment.

Maybe Canada could just take all the welfare fucks we have here in the US?? if you would like them - you pay for them...

Make Lil homie7 bow to the Queen when he gets popped for ripping you off..

mmm.. That good huh... Perhaps our liberal socialist and illegal aliens should move north to that wonderland known as Canada..

I was born in London, Ontario, Canada...I loved my childhood in Canada...

What a bunch of assholes.

Seeing through the US federal budget it’s the politicans that have failed. USA spends 800 billion $ a year on military and 800 billion $ a year and has the worst and most expensive healthcare system in OECD. That gives nothing back to the people and weakeness the economy.
Americans pays a lot of taxes into the government but the government wastes it on the worst and most expensive healthcare in the world. At the same time the taxpayers pays for compeltelly unesseccay wars. Romney will probobaly send the troops to Iran for a war that will last for decades and demolish the world economy totally.

Let the government take full controll of the healthcare system and make it cost-effective and good.Get som expertise from other countries that can make it work, they spend half the money the US consumers do on healthcare but they have far far better healhtcare systems.
And the military spending using taxpayers money providing Israel with billions $ equipment as aid every year.

By just some pencil stroke you could save a trillion $ on military and healthcare and balance the budget. Then put that trillion $ into export industries and the economy will start growing.
The to basic obstables is the extremely high overspending on military and the worst and most inefficient healthcare system in the world.

When has military spending and overspending on health created economic growth? The only guy that could do something with the main problem which is military spending is Ron Paul, he will also privatize the whole health system that would also save a lot of money (800 billion $). He will also cut the government salaries and make his own president salary $39.366 billion. He wants to do something for the nation, the economy and the people but instead they probobaly end up with a morhuhn like Romney,Gingrich,Cain,Perry they will be a dissaster as president probobaly ending up in a 10 trillion $ war in Iran ruining the world economy totally.

So you people need Ron Paul.
I really don’t understand how you people can consider to vote for somebody else than Ron Paul, dosent the debate show that all republican candidates except from Ron Paul will be a total dissaster?
If Obama can win both the house and senate he could also do well, is those ultraconservative religious republicans that fucks it up, Ron Paul being the only sensible of them. Not messing about religion

How could anyone be so messed up that they votes for somebody that mixes religion into politics? Is the same and just as crazy at the Islamists that is controlling Iran Those contrasts is a ticking bomb.

Let Obama have the house and the senate or let Ron Paul do the job, get rid of the rest of the candidates. Their is only two candidates; Obama and Paul. Different ideologies but both can do well and no religion into politics.

I wonder if this guy knows that the things he has said here are well known as exaggerated stereotypes? Does he think that any thinking person believes that he has experienced such things? Does he also have to walk uphill both ways?

I have several similar truths...grasshopper..

So the theory is that America is in trouble because Americans don't work hard enough?

How fucking stupid does one have to be to buy into that?

A wonderful satire. Read the whole thing here:

The Fable of the OWS Grasshoppers - Kathy Fettke - Townhall Finance

Have you heard the new 2012 version of Aesop’s Fable, The Ant and the Grasshopper?

As you may recall, the original version is about an ant that works hard all summer to build its house and gather food for the winter. The grasshopper pokes fun at the hardworking ant, and chooses to dance and play all summer instead.

Come winter, the ant is warm and well fed. The grasshopper, on the other hand, finds itself without food or shelter, and dies out in the cold.

The moral of this age-old story: Think ahead so you can take care of yourself and your family!

The modern-day story is quite different. Here’s how it goes:

The ant works hard all summer to build its house and gather food for the winter. The grasshopper pokes fun at the hardworking ant, and chooses to dance and play all summer instead.

Come winter, the shivering grasshopper marches down Main Street and demands to know why the ant should be allowed to be warm and well fed while he is cold and starving.

News reporters cover the story, broadcasting pictures of the shivering grasshopper
next to images of the ant in his comfortable home with a table filled with food. Citizens are stunned by the sharp contrast.

How can a country of such immense wealth allow this poor grasshopper to suffer?

'It’s Not Easy Being Green.'
(Double meaning here)?

Grasshoppers everywhere unite to fight for their rights. They march and shout, “Damn those ants! They took what belongs to us!”
Politicians looking for voters join the grasshopper movement. Together they condemn the ant, along with any politicians who support the ant’s success.

Good find.

the republicans also blamed the entire bank mess on regular Americans who tried to buy a house in a market they were told would do NOTHING but go up forever.

Remember how they said it was ALL the fault of people trying to buy too much house?

While democrats turned on the banks after strong arming them.
