WRITING in the Wall Street Journal, Walter Russell Mead is the latest in a long line of cheerleaders for American global leadership to maintain that, no matter how it might look, America is not in decline. "The United States isn't in decline", Mr Mead writes, "but it is in the midst of a major rebalancing. The alliances and coalitions America built in the Cold War no longer suffice for the tasks ahead." It turns out that what Mr Mead means by "major rebalancing" is that America is in decline.

We went into decline when obama took The Post American World as a guidebook.

Simply put, the USA didn't grow fast enough to keep the numerical difference between US's GDP and the GDP of emerging powers at same "distance".
Concert-hall has stayed same size, but other countries now play bigger violine in the concert-hall whilst USA now plays a relatively smaller violine than it used to play.

Additionally, this generation of Americans have mismanaged their country, that they are now in a position that they must take debt from the Communists of China. The generation before lived and believed, that Communists are an economical malaise which ultimately will fall.
Iraq adventure clearly accelerated your political decline and your financial problems.

Off course, you can convince me, why I'm wrong and why your generation doesn't deserve to be replaced by the Hispanics from the South.

Yes, academics have been writing books about the decline of the US as a world power since the early 1980's. The US has only become more dominant since.

The Brits talking about American decline. Britainistan is a bankrupt Islimic shithole. It's a matter of time before the queen is wearing a burqa. Too funny.

It appears you suffer from intellectual masochism: a condition in which people have an irrepressible urge to make themselves look like fools.
