America Way Worse Under Obama

Yet for some, the first response was also the enduring response: a knowing dread that what followed would be far worse than what just happened; that America’s reaction would be wildly disproportionate and vastly more destructive than the events of that day.

Absolutely false. Roast rabbit for dinner!

you really believe that mccain would be better? I didn't vote for obama but I KNOW mccain would not be handling this glorious mess of a recession, or the country, any better.

McCain was the neatly packaged sacrificial lamb handed to the voting public that allowed the election of obama. The only bright spot for McCain was Palin.

McCain was the best candidate the GOP had by far. He just did not have the juice to beat Obama in an anti GOP election

Sadly, for the GOP, they do not have a candidate as qualified as McCain for 2012

Of course you who is a left wing nut will say McCain was the best candidate. obama is going down in 2012 the people are not as stupid as you.

No,
Republicans worse under Obama.

The good thing is they have been exposed and the Middle Class finally sees they are at war with the Republican Party.

Yes we do but your approval is not necessary for him to run

No blindy the American people eyes have been opened but it was the democrats that opened them. If the Democrats would not be the party of wasteful spending they may have had a chance to stay in power.

Saul Alinsky would be very proud of how the Socialists/Progressives have divided and destroyed our nation. Their Divide & Conquer strategy is seeing some success right now but it may backfire on them at some point in the future. I hope it does anyway.

The GOP has no better candidate than Obama, the GOP has no better congressional plan than the Democrats, the GOP has nothing more than "no"They lost on their platforms in 2006 and 2008 and on health care reform and on finance reform and on unemployment extensions, and they are going to lose on "No".

Until the GOP drops the far right, it will continue to lose. But the far right is hanging on to party's neck in deep water and will drown the party rather than let is survive.

And that's OK. The GOP should not survive with the far right having an acceptable voice in society, because it simply does not.

The sad thing for the GOP, is that if it had had Romney as the Veep running with McCain, the GOP would have won the presidency despite the Recession. Palin lost the election in 2008, and she is involved in 2012, the party will lose again.

Anyone with a skull, and compassion for humans knows we are in serious trouble under Obama, and their monopolized government. We've seen government under their control since WWII. 70 years of hack Democrat Government workers patting each other on the back while we were "working" and feeding our families. Now we need the correction.

Mean while social services, teacher, cops, firefighters being laid off, but no rich boy Democrat corrections at the top.

I find it interesting that all three demographhics; blacks, minorites, and the young are completely fucked under Obama, and yet they voted for him

Wicked smaht!

I bet you wait for the garbage man so you can yell at him for picking up the messes you have made.

McCain wouldn't have divided the nation with all this Race-Baiting stuff. This President has definitely divided our nation with his excessive Race-Baiting & Class Warfare. John McCain would not have done this in my opinion. He would have probably sought reasonable solutions without all the partisan division. McCain would have been more of a leader in my opinion. That's just how i feel anyway.

America would be in bad straights no matter who was in charge. I'm just disturbed that the current administration is actively making things worse.

Maybe so, But he is still a progressive Republican and we'd still be facing the same problems.

As I expected...you got nothing

A tired dottering old man like John McCain...eight years past his prime and you have nobody you can name who is better qualified

Looks like a sacrificial Tea Bagger for 2012....if Tea Baggers are still around by then

I'm afraid the GOP has not hit rock bottom yet. I thought they sank as low as they could go with Bush/Cheney. Their tactical plan to move farther to the right to reclaim the center will prove disasterous.
The Tea Pary will be the final straw for the GOP. Until they remake themselves as a centrist party that is open to all comers, they are doomed
