    The Economy is in the gotdamn shitter, gasoline is at an all time high, but YET people are PACKED asshole to elbow inside the Malls and Walmarts buying clothes and putting flatscreens on layway???

    What's wrong with this picture?

    The economy is not coming back that quickly.

    Bad debt got us into this mess in 2008 and now you are going to claim more bad debt will stimulate the economy. Do you realize how stupid that idea is?

    Bust and boom economics has been sold all the way down to the poorest of us. If we stopped spending in the name of Santa Clause we would only make purchases when we actually need things or see the need to spend on the behalf of others we care about when THEY actually need things.

    "stimulating the economy" in the short-run yes but in the long-run it further undercuts the U.S.'s domestic manufacturing ability.

    buying stuff we don't need and many can't afford (on credit) for short-term benefit.

    Hello dumbass, half the shit being bought is Electronics built in China and Japan, so we are only helping China and Japans economy dickface.

    People ain't wrapping lines around the Best Buys waiting on toilet paper.

    The economy is better than you think. A lot of people have been paying down their debt. The are living with less and buying less, but they are paying down their debt.
