America rip

Is this the closest toa full blown meltdown we're going to get from "conservatives" today? What a fuckign let down. I was hoping for a some serious implosions. It was the only thing keeping me rooting for a romney victory in the back of my mind. The epcot LOLberal meltdowns would have been so entertaining.

Oh, well.

Winners can be entertaining too.

You really think that he can remove the second amendment? Do you know how many guns are in households in this country?

He would spark a bloody revolution by even trying. he might slap some BS UN shit into the air, sure. BFD.
You want them? Come take them. And there are many out there who feel that very way.

You're getting a little fast adn loose in thought there, fella.

lol. I am not a fella. and:
I know very well, how many households have guns. Mine being one of them. I have a very nice collection.
Obama has made his agenda quite clear concerning Americans and their guns.:

Practicality:
An international registry will tell them what we own.
A failure to comply = jail term.
So what are you going to do when the UN treaty, that Obama is going to sign, bans your Ruger 22 semi-auto?

I will be turning mine into the sheriff's dept. on their orders. Because 1. they will know that I own one, and 2. not giving it up will mean confiscation and jail time.

What are you going to do? Refuse to comply? Throw stones? Because without ammo, our guns are worthless.
A United Nations Gun Control Treaty Coming Soon

In practical terms, in order to ensure against such diversions to unauthorized users outside the United States in violation of the UN treaty, the federal government would need to impose very rigorous regulations and controls on the possession and sale of all guns, together with registration, detailed record-keeping on U.S. gun ownership and surveillance of the whereabouts of privately owned firearms at all times.

We have become, by force, a compliant country, for the common good. There will be no prying my gun from my cold dead fingers. I have a family that needs me here, not in jail.

There will be no bloodshed. You"ll have a choice. Relinquish or jail.

We Texans take a different view of the situation.:D

I know exactly how you feel. Honestly I do. I started shooting skeet since I was 7, with my dad's 12 guage. I just let my cat out and heard my neighbor shooting his gun.

Did you raise up when the gov. decided we needed to register our guns with them, so they could "keep track"?
Are you going to shoot the officers that come to take your guns?
Will Texas start shooting at the signing of the treaty or the implementing of the treaty?
Will you band together and start shooting the enforcers of the treaty? Will they let you keep you gun while you're are in jail for murder?
Will you barricade yourself and your guns inside and prepare for a Waco moment?

I feel the same way you do. What do you see as your options?

Candy, thank you for the most entertaining thread this post election day! I truly, hope you are not really sufffering as much as you claim. The post election depression you have displayed is most satisfying to an old liberal hippie. Thanks again, you made my day. (Gloat, Gloat, Gloat)

I was a lib hippie too but I grew up. I would not want to go back there. People like you are in charge now. (((((((shudder)))))) Fuck the country, right??

I wonder if anyone realizes how GONE America really is this morning? Forward from today we are in the Era of Coulda, Shoulda, Woulda and a country wide settling for second best.
It's the end of America the Great and Beautiful, my friends. The end of Prosperity and Plenty. We just voted ourselves into third rate mediocrity and it's hard to understand how so many could be so satisfied with so little.

Some like the government wiping there ass and directing there life......:eusa_eh:

I will admit I had faith in the America people and I'm saddened so many really want that.

I did too. An optimist to the last, I reckon. But... last night proved that we've got more takers than makers, more irrational idiots than critical thinkers. The balance has been tipped. THAT is the real "accomplishment" of Obama's first four years. And while I grieve for the loss of my country, having awakened into just another socialist state and nothing special, I grieve even more for the loss of faith in what I once considered my fellow countrymen.

But... fuck it. If a billion Chinese peasants can somehow drag their asses out of bed to face each day, so can I. And damned if I won't find a way to do it better, so that when its time to pay the piper... the lazy peckerheads who brought this disaster down upon us all are the ones doing it. Not me, and not my family. Our job now is to see to our own, and if the rest drown in their own filth, so be it. It's what they voted for, and that's the price of breaking the contract under which we all once agreed to live. The U.S. Constitution WAS our referee on the field, the tie that bound us. With its loss, I wouldn't bother to piss on a fucking lib if I saw one on fire.

Absolutely. Your job is now to see to your own and fuck the rest. You don't live in obamamerica, but around it. Each day the task is to pick your way through the filth without getting your hems dirtier than necessary. As of today it's every man, woman and child for himself. When you hear "We are all in this together" keep in mind that who is saying that to you is a looter.

The social compact exists, and as long as you live in the USA, haters, you are bound by it legally. It will be enforced.

Well, I'm a Winchester girl myself but I imagine you could find just about anything you wanted in one brothers gun rack or the other.

I'm not worried about losing our guns. They've tried before, they'll try again. They always head back to Yankee land with raggedy britches and empty hands.

Rember The Alamo!!:D

The national guard, under Bush went door to door in New Orleans, taking guns away from American citizens and the rest of us did NOTHING!! It was a test and we failed. I seriously doubt at this point that we are gonna get to keep our guns.

The Texicans and their Tejano allies all died at the Alamo and had their weapons confiscated.

You are three loons in a leak boat with one oar, going around and around and down.

Exactly. Like Candyslice, I didn't want to believe it. But after last night, it can no longer be denied. I'm sorry I lived to see it, the destruction of Liberty in my lifetime, it's numbing... but I've got kids to worry about, and somehow, someway, I'm going to find better for them than the yoke of economic slavery these commie bastards have in mind.

WE WILL NOT COMPLY.

holy shit, he said that?!!!!!

"As a general principle, I believe that the Constitution confers an individual right to bear arms. But just because you have an individual right does not mean that the state or local government can't constrain the exercise of that right."
April 16, 2008, Democratic Primary Debate, National Constitution Center in Philadelphia

And we will clap and support him because he will tell us it's for our own good. Now we can all be safe. We're idiots.

Nonsense. The country is better of than it was four years ago. It will be better in another four. Come get on board the train, or take the blinders elsewhere.

Then act like an American and believe in democracy

Democracy I GET. Slavish, blind adherrance to failure is what astonishes me.

The IMF is predicting a 3 per cent increase in the American economy next year, higher than any western democracy.

LOL....Some would call that a regression. I am a Korean Vet ('52) so I am confused about your terminology "Fuck the country" also I am too old to be in charge of anything except my own life. I do feel the "Devil I know" is better for me than the "Devil I don't know." Thank you again for your input on this thread.
