America Rejects Conservatives & Conservativism

pubs haven't won the popular vote since 1988.

They watched Palin go down because they didn't vet her but they did exactly the same thing with Mittens.

Now, they're in shock because the voters rejected the craziness of the teepotters and the incredible laws they want to control every part, every aspect of our personal lives.

The GObP is in total collapse. Its like they have never done this before. They're all blaming each other and for crying out loud, they are actually blaming the friggin weather.

If they want a way back, they're gonna have to show they deserve it. As it is, they're losers.

To repeat --

pubs haven't won the popular vote since 1988.

The last time they won without the name Bush or Nixon on the ticket was 1928.

They are dinosaurs. Crazy, fundie dinosaurs.

The left is so bad with math
which explains a lot about our debt

Bush vs Kerry

Popular vote 62,040,610 59,028,444
Percentage 50.7% 48.3%

As an interesting aside related to this thread topic, I was listening to Dennis Prager yesterday. Despite the fact that he usually gives some very good personal advice, I normally don't listen to him because of his tendency to portray conservative political ideology as if it's some kind of high water mark of morality which I find both laughable and easily refutable.

At any rate, Dennis has a lesson to share with everyone that he's learned as a result of the 2012 election. It's not to change the Republican Party or their approach to issues or the voters. No, none of that. Prager's solution is to change the thinking of EVERYONE ELSE. Got that? The GOP isn't going to change. They're going to change the thinking of tens of millions of people.

Do you really think things are going to get better under Papa Obama?

Papa Obama first term hasn't really happened yet, in the conventional sense.
Normally, a President's policies operate in his first term,
the public sees the changes, and the reelection campaign
is a referendum on these changes.

In Obama’s case, to hide their effects and help in securing reelection,
he has back loaded most of his controversial changes into a second term.

Papa Obama’s next term will start to see the effects of his 'bag of goods'....
health-care reform, Dodd-Frank, etc
....barely known to the public

Indeed, one should always be careful what they wish for....
In the words of Papa Obama's ex pastor of 20 years
"The chickens are coming home to roost"

Considering the fiscal issues coming up soon and the Left's only solutions to be
more of the same failed growth constraining types..... A similar path followed
by the failed socialist economics in Europe, like Greece.

As they say hindsight is always "20-20"....

The Left has done a favor for the right by being the ones in charge when
the economic calamities and falseness of promised "goods", start to bear

This time, four years from now,
Papa Obama and the Left will have an impossible time avoiding
accountability for our economic stagnation and failures.

For several months leading up to the 2012, conservatives seemed to be quite confident that victory was theirs...for the taking. Conservatives seemed downright cocky about it, frankly. Arrogant, really. Defiant, as well.

In fact, conservatives seemed quite confrontational toward anyone who questioned them and/or challenged them and their 'conviction' that the election was merely a formality.

And in the last week or so, several conservatives dismissed the polls and flat out predicted a Republican landslide. Michael Barone did. So did George Will. As did a host of others. Even the Romney camp was reportedly VERY confident of victory.

So, I guess I have a question, mostly for conservatives, but anyone can offer an opinion. How does it feel to realize that Americans all across the country (and in 8 out of the 9 swing states) rejected conservatism and conservatives running for office? I'm not asking anyone to reveal their emotions or their emotional state. What I'm curious to know is whether or not conservatives now see that there is a very real possibility that they erred when it came to reading the mood of the electorate. Are conservatives willing to consider the error of their ways in their stated policies and their approach to people in general and different groups? Or do conservatives just think that they need to be MORE conservative, and reject political and policy moderation even more than they already have in order to win future elections?

yeah yeah. they said that in 2004 about liberals and liberalism.

And continue to lose elections in the process.

Conservatives are quickly approaching the threshold of a cult.

Getting into your wallets isn't apparently. Apparently it is both conservative and liberal at the same time.

It's strange the way the Blue States have to subsidize the Red States, and those from the Red States say it's the Blue States who are moochers. If only the Blue States could keep their money and stop giving it to the Red State "takers".

9 out of the 10 most indebted states are blue. Anyway, who cares, republican democrat tomato tomahto

That's because they are paying for the Red states.

Glad you get it.
