True social conservatism isn't about keeping wives in the kitchen, if I said that to my wife she would knock my head off, lol, its about having values and high moral standards without forcing others to have those values and moral standard via politics. America isn't conservative enough neither is it too liberal , lets just say it has fallen into moral anarchy. From what I heard the US has more people who attend Church than Europe, plus prostitution is legal in many European countries and drugs are legal in Spain and Holland, if you go to Germany or Eastern Europe you will see street walkers strutting all over the place. If I wanted to move to a more conservative place than the US, I would not choose Europe, just my opinion anyways.

Thats nonsense, yeah, there are some things legal over there that are not legal here, but the difference is things are not taken to the extreme there as they are over here. Drug use is *NOT* legal in the Netherlands, its just that the law is not strictly enforce, yet the country is not full of drug addicts nor do they have prisons full of addicts. Prostitution is legal in some Europe countries but STDs are not off the charts over there.

The reason why no one cares about the latter and involves themselves in politics is because of the porn, sex of TV, alcohol, and immoral things, when the mind is free of the influence of such things the focus would be on unemployment, soaring gas prices and food prices, but who will care about that as long as they can turn on 60 Minutes and watch the camera man keep in camera focused on Lady Gaga's butt?

I find it funny that everything "banned" and or illegal in America is so rampant like prostitution and drugs, many guns are illegally owned, why don't the so called "moralists" just make everything they claim to be striving to keep illegal legal?

Hell no it shouldn't be legal, but as I've stated, the difference between America and Europe is that immoral behavior is illegal in most instances but is heavily glamorized and promoted in Europe immoral things are legal but are not heavily glamorized and promoted thats why in Europe they can show commercials with women having their breasts exposed and men over there don't turn into over excited horndogs, do it in America and the opposite is true. Almost 80% of Americans watch porn and obsess over it.

Well the Europeans are comfortable in their own skin, over the naked body isn't considered a big deal and something to hide but over here it is and when a man sees a nice pair of tits he goes just different cultures I guess, hell when I deployed to Saudi Arabia I barely saw any women and the ones I did see were covered like Ninjas. I don't know how many Europeans watch porn but I know it is there, one of my favorite stars Katja Kassin is from Germany.
