I keep hearing liberals use the phrase, "America has spoken" in regards to the majority of voters wanting to go in the direction set forth by Obama and most democrats/liberals.

I'd just like to point out that most voting Americans know more about Honey Boo Boo than they do about the federal government. Or politics, for that matter.

So just because America speaks, doesn't really mean they know what they're talking about.

Hence..we have a government that is a representative democracy..instead of a direct one.

Filled with checks and balances geared to protect the rights of people in the minority.

Doesn't change the fact:

Obama won.

1) The nation is still pretty divided on that.
2) The nation voted for the Status quo more than any vision. Unfortunately, we wont get that.

His victory was hardly a resounding mandate.
It was more a testament to the dumbing down of this country.

The leftwing drink of choice.

Oh, so by protecting the rights of a minority it empowers the majority to take from the minority? We all know that it is not the 2% but rather the middle class that will pay the bill. The Messiah will do nothing thus he can say the GOP is against the middle class in favor of the rich, the problem is, most people understand cuts are coming it's just that no one in Washington has the balls to say it other than the GOP.

Despite what some on the left likes to claim Bush won twice as well and we still here the left bitch about him to this day so you can all just deal with right bitching about Obama for four more years and maybe if they follow the lefts example many years after he leaves office.
