Libertarianism, and classic liberalism, seem like they're things we should aspire to. It's just so hard to get a third party off the ground. Realistically, if there's going to be a third party in America, it'll probably be a moderate party. It would be between the Republican and Democratic parties that are moving so far to the edges. But you never know, the Republican and Democratic parties may come back to the center a bit.
