Amazon is now banning offensive books

Should the government get involved in the way Amazon does business?
Like it has the bakery business?
That's a human rights issue. Amazon's is a marketing issue.

So selling cakes is human rights, selling books is marketing?

Er..... WTF?
When you deny someone of equal service, it's human rights. When you don't sell books to anyone, it's a marketing decision.

And what happens if the Christians put up a sign saying "we don't do printed cakes" (or whatever they're called) and then a Christian walks in and gets a printed cake, but a gay person walks in, and doesn't?

Marketing or Human Rights?
you conveniently leave off what the printing is for and about.

if i wanted one of a race car for my son, he would have no issue making the cake. if i wanted a BOOBIE cake for a bachelor party he'd not make that either. hell if you wanted a halloween case this particular baker wouldn't do it. but sure, make it all about gay people.

A same sex couple asking for a wedding cake is not making a request for something unusual like a race car or a 'boobie' cake. In your mind, what does a wedding cake look like? Are wedding cakes available on a baker's menu? What would a same sex wedding cake look like?

the baker in question offered to give them any he already had made but they didn't want that.

as usual, you're going to micro-slice this into it being one subset of a larger issue you ignore. this baker didn't make boobie cakes, dick cakes, halloween cakes or ANY cakes he didn't feel right making. it was NOT JUST GAY COUPLES so stop acting like ONLY gay couples get this kind of protection. there are 50 bakers in that area who could have made that cake for them, so to me they didn't want a cake in as much a fight.

If 'boobie' and 'dick' cakes are not on his menu, he is right in not baking them. Pork chops aren't on the menu of my favorite kosher deli, so I don't ask for them.

However, wedding cakes ARE on this baker's menu. A same sex couple asking for a wedding cake is not outside the bounds of what the baker provides.

Your problem is I am right. Same sex wedding cakes are wedding cakes. If the baker does not have a tacky, old fashioned plastic statue of a same sex couple available for a topping, I'm sure same sex couples wouldn't have a problem finding one on Amazon.

But, knowing same sex couples, I doubt they would want something as tacky on their cake. They want elegance and beauty, not garish novelty.

My work here is done! Another idiot runs away. Now I declare victory and clear the field.

Video: Amazon is Now Banning ‘Offensive’ Books
Forget burning books, now Amazon just digitally erases them.

Roosh V is the latest thought criminal to face the ban hammer.

But hey, at least it’s not the government, right?

===========================

But as long as you don' tlike them like Alex Jones it's all ok, but you see the problem is many leftist ass kissers thought the same thing " Oh it won't happen to me" news flash for the millionth time we told you jackasses they're coming for you too sooner or later you big mouths will be shut down incluidng you pos losers who have the nerve to say " spit on the flag, fk the national anthem, screw the war heroes you know what bitches you just hate it because your to much of a coward to defend anything that is Pro America.

Which makes you one hell of an ugly ass communist who should leave th US and move to China. Don't come back either once you realize how good your pathetic asses had it.

So when Amazon stops carrying a particular book....the book ceases to exist?

Because I don't think 'erase' means what you think it means. If you want Alex Jones' latest hysteric batshit......you can go to his website and buy it. Along with whatever powders, goos and potions he's shilling this week.

So?

They can not sell/carry any books they want.

They are a company...not a public library.

Amazon is a private company. Private book companies have always been selective in what they’ve sold. Companies have not sold hate material, porn, etc.

Online sales account for 8% of all retail sales in this country.

You are perfectly free to not patronize any company you wish.

I try to avoid buying from Amazon. I usually buy from a racial loyalist store..there are many of them....rather my money go to a good cause than to a rich asshole who certainly doesn't need my money and censors what I can see.

Totally a good thought. I wish there was a way to avoid buying apple or a droid / pc since both fkrs sold us out to China. I mean there is a way don't own one LOL but society almost can't exist with out one . Since they forced everybody into paying bills online etc.

But oh population control is such a conspiracy LOL.

“A good thought” is to buy from a “racial loyalist store?”

If you wonder why the alt-right is accused of being racist, look no further.

But I’m sure you won’t get it.
