I assure you I am judging Barack Obama by the content of his character and not by the color of his skin. He has no way to distinguish between what should and should not be said.

So you seriously think Jesus would want us to take out the Syrian government, which is evil, in support of the rebels who are potentially more evil? And you seriously think firing missles at the Assad Regime from the sky is going strike only adult and no children? What about those children's parents? Do these children you are concerned about deserve to grow up orphans because Obama made some rash statements about a red line that we aren't even 100% positive has been crossed by Assad?

The Lord has laws governing war. We are not following them.

Here is what Jesus would do. He would preach the Gospel to the people of Syria. He would organize forces to preach with power and authority. He would show the people that the Father is God and that they need to repent and come to Him.

He would take care of the sick, the afflicted, the widow, and the fatherless. He wouldn't do it with a government but with volunteers who were fearless and had faith in God. He would do it non-violently.

The Judgments of God will be on Syria. We don't need the judgments on us as well for creating more chaos and conflict.

All of the "red line" debate seems to assume Assad has been proven to have used poison gas on civilians.

Where is the proof?

There's some speculation Saudi Arabia supplied the gas used in the most recent crime:

"As the U.S. considers a response to what it calls a chemical weapon attack by Syria’s Bashar al-Assad regime that killed hundreds of civilians, reliable Middle Eastern sources say they have evidence the culprits actually were the rebel forces trying to take over the government.."

"On Aug. 23, LiveLeak.com hosted an audio recording of a phone call broadcast on Syrian TV between a terrorist affiliated with the rebel civilian militia “Shuhada al-Bayada Battalion” in Homs, Syria, and his Saudi Arabian boss, identified as “Abulbasit.” The phone call indicates rebel-affiliated terrorists in Syria, not the Assad government, launched the chemical weapons attack in Deir Ballba in the Homs, Syria, countryside.

"The terrorist said his group, which comprises 200 terrorists escaped from al-Bayadah to al-Daar al-Kabera through a tunnel, needed to buy weapons to attack Homs.

"The Saudi financier, who was in Cairo, asked the Syrian terrorists to give details about his group and how it will receive the money. The Saudi admitted his support to terrorists in Daraa and the Damascus countryside. The Syrian terrorist told him that one of the achievements of his 'battalion' was the use of chemical weapons in Deir Ballba.

"The recorded phone call disclosed the cooperation between two terrorist groups in Syria to bring two bottles of Sarin Gas from the Barzeh neighborhood in Damascus.

Turkish security forces found a 2kg cylinder with sarin gas after searching the homes of Syrian militants from the Al-Qaeda linked Al-Nusra Front who were previously detained, Turkish media reports. The gas was reportedly going to be used in a bomb.

The sarin gas was found in the homes of suspected Syrian Islamists detained in the southern provinces of Adana and Mersia following a search by Turkish police on Wednesday, reports say. The gas was allegedly going to be used to carry out an attack in the southern Turkish city of Adana.

On Monday, Turkish special anti-terror forces arrested 12 suspected members of the Al-Nusra Front, the Al-Qaeda affiliated group which has been dubbed “the most aggressive and successful arm” of the Syrian rebels. The group was designated a terrorist organization by the United States in December.

"This incident was carried out by an organization which is in close contact to pro-regime groups in Syria and I say this very clearly, with the Syrian Mukhabarat [intelligence agency]," Interior Minister Muammer Guler said.

"Syria’s Information Minister Omran Zoubi denied any link the attack, saying his country 'did not commit and would never commit such an act because our values would not allow that'."

It seems clear both sides in Syria possess chemical weapons and the values required to use them. Hopefully, enough US voters will remember who voted for more killing in Syria when November 2014 rolls around.
