Yep my festivus pole is up every day of the year. However I have never decorated it.
Sounds a bit too kinky for me.

Though I do mix a great turkey mince -Jack Daniels daiquiri.

I saw Xmas junk in the supermarket the day after Halloween.

I just have to take this moment to bitch and moan about how they try so to hard to get us in the Xmas spending mood as early as they can that they end up practically running Xmas into the ground. By the time finally Xmas rolls around I'm ready to tear my hair out if I hear Jingle Bells one more time. Xmas used to be special time of year. Now it's the very rare times of the year that they aren't trying to push some holiday or other that are the special times of the year. The holiday free periods are something to truly cherish and celebrate. This endless Xmas advertising is the real war on Christmas that we should worry about.

And one more thing. They've been doing it for years now but I just hate that restaurants have those tiny white Xmas lights all over the trees on their terraces all year round. Tree lightings used to be something just done at Xmas. I used to look forward to it so much. It was magical. Now it's everywhere all the time. Don't even notice it any more.
