A drugged society is a particularly compliant society. In A Brave New World, drug use was mandatory. The drugged do not question, they are not inquisitive. They will blindly do whatever the drug supplier tells them to do. They are perfect democrats.

There are drugs that increase awareness and those that decrease it. Funny that the legal one, alcohol, is the later, while Marijuana (an others) are the former.

Sorry but pot does not increase your awareness at all. I assume that you have smoked it so I can’t fathom why you would say such a thing. That is akin to stating that acid increases your ‘awareness.’ That is bunk; it just fucks with your mind, not really a bad thing though.
