The incumbent Democrat is leading the Republican candidate by almost 20 points. As a spoiler, Johnson will probably pull more from the Republican than the Democrat.

Johnson served two terms as New Mexico's governor. It's not like he doesn't have serious pull with the voters there.

Johnson blew it as a presidential candidate, but he can be very personable and I like some of his policy stances. Add in my desire to see the two main parties lose some of their grip on political power and I would certainly consider voting for Johnson were I a New Mexico resident. I don't know the candidates he's running against, so I can't say for sure, of course.

I found it funny how much Cavuto interrupted Johnson's answers in the interview.
