It's a shame to see an old, old city destroyed like this in addition to realizing how many innocent people have died.

Aleppo is one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world. "The jewel of Syria" is a Unesco World Heritage site and was a popular tourist destination.

Now much of Syria's largest city is in ruins. Aleppo has been split roughly in half between opposition groups in the east and government troops in the west.

Rebel-held areas have been flattened and abandoned after thousands were killed by "barrel bombs" – steel drums full of shrapnel and explosives – dropped by Syrian government aircraft.

They could give up. And given that no one lives voluntary in the terrorist controlled parts pf the city, over 90 % of the population fled the city, the tales of thousands died due to government´s shelling of the city sound like grotesque lies as they did not mention those are terrorists who kill and abuse children for anti-government propaganda purposes and force them into the front line. Who argues in favor of the terrorists is a terrorist in his mind.

There are other people than you who have studied what is going on in Syria, and I think they would laugh in your face for calling them terrorist lovers, especially with you always holding out Assad and his gang as a bunch of angels who never ever do anything wrong.

BEIRUT: The Syrian air force launched about 1,592 strikes across Syria over the past month, killing at least 396 civilians, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said on Wednesday.

The Britain-based group, which monitors the war in Syria using sources on the ground, said at least 1,500 people were also wounded in the attacks, which were carried out by warplanes and helicopters which dropped "barrel bombs", steel drums full of shrapnel and explosives.

The group said air raids since Oct. 20 had struck areas in the Hama, Deraa, Idlib, Aleppo and Quneitra provinces as well as the Damascus countryside. They also hit the eastern Deir al-Zor province, where U.S.-led forces have been bombing Islamic State militants.

I never said that they never did wrong. However, the death toll of Syrian air strikes is very low. If the Syrian airforce would target populated areas 1500 times, the death toll would comprise tens of thousands of civilians.
